@uunnaamm was never told that one of these flowers is actually the official flower behind our Valentina bar. Manu clearly gets us. First to comment which of these three flowers is “the one”, gets a free Valentina bar. Available only for pickup at our store. Guess away!

Every morning we bake canelé in house. The traditional Bordelaise way. These pastries are quite challenging to make but completely worth it. They taste amazing together with a fresh cup of coffee.
See you in a bit...

Holy Wood! Palo santo infused chocolate.
This unusual bar has accompanied us for years and it never seizes to mesmerize. We source this highly aromatic wood directly from the coastal dry forests in Ecuador and infuse it along cacao from the same country.
Holy Woood is a flavorful snapshot of this idyllic equatorial place.

Come try our new elderflower truffles! We roll these by hand in cacao powder and finish them with pink peppercorn dust.
We will be handing out complimentary truffles or a cup of maple drinking chocolate to all moms this Sunday. Thanks moms!

We had a little cache of the beautiful honey process and hybrid varietal Ecuadorian coffee from @cafetraviesa—just in time to make cold brew for the warmer months!
We’re going to try to keep this as our in-house cold coffee option as long as we can—maybe even the whole summer!
It’s fruity and robust and clean all at once. 📸 by @benkinde

We are proud to introduce our newest chocolate bar: Bee
Featuring Oregon bee pollen and cacao from Ecuador, it’s a hand-painted hybrid of yellow chocolate and dark.
We produce the yellow chocolate by refining cacao butter and bee pollen together, and the dark chocolate has a touch of sea salt to balance the sweetness.
Impossibly decadent and generously flavored by its natural ingredients, it seems like a perfect celebration of bombastic spring and the magic of flowers—especially their hard-working pollinators.
Available at our shop in SE Portland and online. Link in profile.

Here is our new collaboration with our friends from @olofragrance
We not only share the same neighborhood with OLO but also the comfort and joy of using our olfactory whimsy to freely manifest unconventional ideas within our respective fields.
This bar features wild Bolivian cacao, holding flavor notes of fig and stone fruit, blended together with a breeze of bergamot orange and ground cardamom pods.
The OLO bar is now available directly through @olofragrance, our retail partners, online, and at our new chocolate shop located at 1411 SE Stark St., Portland Oregon.

This week we will be featuring an entirely Ecuadorian coffee menu (while supplies last). Sebastian’s family is rooted in Ecuador and his brother Felipe roasts and sells fine coffees in Quito as @cafetraviesa. Felipe came to the NW for the coffee expo this weekend in Seattle, so he was kind enough to supply this rare treat of coffees from Ecuador.
We’re blending his fully washed hybrid varietal coffee with his honey-processed typica varietal for our drip coffee, which produces a fruity and balanced, clean cup.
We will also likely serve some similar blend of his coffees for espresso. Expect lighter bodied, livelier flavors while this is on the bar.
We will have a limited quantity of all the coffees he brought with available for sale in retail bags as well!
