It probably took me twice as long to flip grip with my right arm. Even now I have to play around with elbow placement to find the sweet spot when extending the arms high or bringing the elbows low.
I previously posted an outdoor shot of this pose with the elbows pointing forward but higher. Here I started the elbow move much lower (top pic in transition)which then kept me from fully extending them forward (bottom pic at my edge of the forward elbow move). A flexible mindset instead of repeating the same approach and forcing the movement.
A must to stay focused and detached in the never ending path towards gaining skills in asana practice.

Just one time,
Just one big revelation.

Good Morning!! 🌞
Lotus/half lotus - as a runner a must do❣️ I can’t remember when I was able to finally do it. I do remember thinking it would be impossible to achieve.
As with many challenging poses, don’t worry about practicing the pose itself too much. Instead consistently practice poses that will increase hip flexibility and mobility and it will happen.
So many poses work on the hips, from standing, to seated, to supine. In the end, knowing alignment of the poses is key for progress. #yogirunner#runner#halflotus#padmasana#loveandalliscoming#onebreathatatime#yogaphotography#outdooryoga
Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echos are truly endless #mothertheresa

Some harsh comments have been thrown around towards @kinoyoga just the same as with the sponsors when the issue was brought up. Didn’t agree with diminishing negative comments then and I don’t agree with them now.
Debates are always good, they bring up issues that must be addressed and they will always have sides. Use your voice to create awareness and find solutions.
Black Friday last year... I remember most (9/10) of my feed was paid Alo adds or their sponsors promoting their sale. I remember @yoga_girl bringing attention to that fact. That kind of feed control hasn’t happened since then.
