A Stag weekend in Lisbon means the consecutive run streak challenge comes to an end at just 18 days. Certainly not the longest running streak ever but certainly the most running I’ve ever done in such a short space of time.
All slow & steady at the moment and ranging from 2km to a 30km run around the Malvern hills, backed up with 20km the next day. It’s a long time until the Marathon Des Sables and the enormity of the job has well and truly sunk in. So much work to be done over the next 291 days and 17 hours and at the moment it’s all about all about conditioning the legs and building up their resiliency.
A minor miracle I’ve not had an injury yet and @zeropointuk has played a major part in that alongside @andy.chalmers.505 & all #torqfuelled. even managed to get my favourite shoes in team colours 👌
