This year’s #TIUbikiniseries was my 3rd bikini series & marked my 2 year anniversary as a #TIUmember, & it’s def been the most fun #TIUchallenge I’ve done yet! While these photos from may 7th & yesterday capture some visible differences, I’m most proud of the happiness I’ve gained💫 @toneitup helps make life easier with the weekly workout schedules & challenge meal plans, but what really makes this a lifestyle is the flexibility & variety there is to make it all work for YOU. For me, #studiotoneitup classes, #charitymiles (which for the first time I easily surpassed my #100bySummer goal & hit 137 @charitymiles!) & meetups with local babes helped keep me moving while also making my heart happy!👯♀️🏃🏻♀️💓 And I loved the new recipes that came along with this new challenge, but I didn’t strictly follow the meal plan (& I also had the occasional regret-free burger, fries & ice cream lol! #balance, right?!) That’s what’s great about the #TIUnutritionplan... if u need something that gives u structure & lists out each meal, the challenge menus are fantastic; but if ur looking more for meal inspiration, do like me & use those menus & previous challenge’s meals as references when filling out those helpful blank calendars as u meal prep👩🏻🍳😋
There’s physical motivation for participating in these challenges, but I feel the ultimate value here is happiness. Yes, our bodies will change, but it’s so much more than just appearance... it’s about discovering how strong u truly are, it’s about waking up each day knowing u are growing in more ways than one. So workout because it makes u happy, eat well because it makes u happy, be around people because they make u happy. Okay, it’s time for my #TIUBikiniSeries#TIUTransformation post. And it’s a long one!
I definitely thought about not posting this. My strep throat from three weeks ago came back with a vengeance, and immediately after I took these pictures I crawled into bed to sleep fitfully for the rest of my Sunday. But, sitting down this morning and looking at the pictures, reflecting on how much I’ve grown and accomplished over the past 8 weeks, doing the math on my running and cycling, I knew it was worth sharing with this wonderful, accepting #TIUcommunity.
I didn’t meet my goal to run 60 miles and cycle 120 miles, but I did hit that #100bysummer goal! I also walked over 150 miles over the past eight weeks and took my #tiupup on a walk almost every day of the Bikini Series. I am so proud of myself for putting in the extra miles and for making a plan that (if not for strep throat getting me twice) I think I could have met. It inspired me to make ANOTHER goal for the next eight weeks. I want to try to hit a 50 mile running goal and cycle 100 miles again, maybe with my new bike riding buddy @akrembel
Much to my surprise, I’ve lost a few inches on my waist and thighs! I’ve even gone down a few pounds on the scale, too.
I am so proud of myself for putting my health and nutrition first and continuing to live a life that will help me be healthy not only now, but over the next fifty years. During the #tiuloveyourbody series, my goals were to make sure that I could be a healthy, fit, uninjured 80 year old, and to start making choices now that will help get me there. The Bikini Series only enforced that goal more! The stronger and more flexible we are, the greener and cleaner we eat, the more likely we are to live long and strong!
Thank you @toneitup@karenadawn and @katrinaascott for creating this beautiful community of women to lift each other up and feel stronger together! I’m so thankful for the past eight weeks, for #studiotoneituplive, for the new women I’ve met who boost my confidence and lift me up, and for my body and the empowerment I feel to keep on living my best life. Cheers, babes!

The challenge may have ended, but this healthy lifestyle does not 🙌🏼
I’m definitely feelin’ the work i put in this week at kickboxing and studio TIU 🔥 I slept it and only did bikini arm tone and foam rolled a little bit today. I have a planned active rest day and a much needed massage tomorrow 🙌🏼 .
P.S. I cant believe we left for #studiotoneituplive a week ago 😱 time flies! Miss you guys 🤗💕
5 days left in the @toneitup#100bysummer#TIUbikiniseries . Nope, these pictures were not taken 8 weeks apart. This has been a 2 plus year journey. This challenge helped me get over the hump and put me very close to my goal.

Every letter in my full name was an exercise today with a random amount of reps 💪🏼 perfect amount of cardio and body weight moves 🔥 I was still dripping sweat on my drive home.
I recovered with a smoothie that I call, “I hope this turns out good” 😂 and it did! Here’s what’s in my cup ⬇️.
✨ 1/2 cup mango .
✨ 1/2 cup pineapple .
✨ 1/2 inch of ginger .
✨ 1/2 packet of dragon fruit .
✨ 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower .
✨ handful of spinach .
✨ @toneitupnutrition coconut protein .
✨ squirt of honey .
✨ 1 tbsp chia seeds .
✨ 1 cup almond milk .

I jog/walked 3.33 miles at 14'51 pace. Whew! I'm hot and tired. But i'm taking vitamins and coffee to keep me going. We are flying out in the morning to hit the beach! #tiuteam#100bysummer#tiubikiniseries
