Black and white crystals represent the opposite ends of the color and energetic spectrum. Black crystals represents the yang energy of power, protection, control, knowledge and masculinity. White crystals represents the yin energy of softness, gentleness, higher power and femininity. When paired together, they create overall balance and harmony within a space. •Black Tourmaline and Howlite were chosen to create this duo. Black Tourmaline is my favorite black crystal because it's the most powerful protection stone. Howlite is soft, lovely stone to reduce anxiety, tension, stress, and eliminates pain or rage. It can soothe an overactive mind and helps achieve a restful sleep 😴
This duo will available in multiple sizes and finishes for men and women at our pop-up shop July 27 and 28.

Goodmorning sweeties ♥️ How are you guys? I feel ah-ma-zing! After three lovely days in Paris with one of my dearest friends @itsmejowwie, celebrating in @afropunk, I feel soooo fulfilled. We seem to forget sometimes but we are all one. One love. We have different souls, different shapes, different minds, different colours, different countries, different this and that. But at the end of the day we are all the same. We are all living beings that want to be loved and want to share that feeling with others. So please, love more, appreciate more. Cherish more. Today I am finally seeing my sweetest again after some weeks and I can not wait. I hope all of you will be having a lovely day as well. Look around, love X

“In the midst of movement & chaos, keep stillness inside of you.” — Deepak Chopra. •
Just. Keep. Breathing.🌬
It’s basically a guarantee that our inner peace is challenged on a regular basis. Our days are consistently filled with to-do lists, crazy work schedules, papers to write, deadlines to reach, meals to prep, blogs to start (hint*).😇
Sometimes, this commotion can leave us feeling airy, out of control, wondering what happened to our balance— our sense of being grounded. 🤷🏻♀️
Yoga is not only SO good for the body, but it can also be used as a tool for our psyche that encourages us to surrender to the present moment— to take step back from what may seem like madness, take it in with an inhale, and let it all go on it’s way out with one simple, full round of breath. It grants us the opportunity to make a conscious decision to create time and space for ourselves; release our minds from the grip of our thoughts for a while, and allows us to just be. And for me, it’s a BIG piece of the total wellness puzzle.🕉
Pro-tip: You don’t have to be on your mat to take a step back from the chaos, but in the case that you would like to, come join us for Yoga at your nearest @lifestart fitness center in the Chicago loop! We offer 45 minute group classes to fit that *you time* into your jam-packed schedules. See you there. Namaste friends, much love! 🙏🏼✨💕
My Chicken Cordon Blue Casserole did not turn out as good as last time because I overcooked my chicken😝
Was still good though! Follow the recipe😁
***you need an instant pot or crockpot so planning ahead is key👌
🔹2 lbs. Boneless, skinless chicken breast
🔹6oz deli ham 🔹12 slices of swiss cheese 🔹8oz softened cream cheese 🔹1 stick of softened #kerrygold butter 🔹1 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
🔹1 tsp. Lemon juice
🔹2 tbsp. Olive or avocado oil
🔹Garlic and herb seasoning 🔹Pepper
🔹Garlic Powder 🔹Onion Powder
1. Brush olive/avacado oil on chicken, and season. I just use a good amount off all of the spices above.. except the salt and pepper.. just lightly season with those.
2. Lightly oil an instant pot, or a crockpot, and cook the chicken breast to a shred. 4-6 hours on low in the crockpot, or 22 minutes on manual in the #instantpot. I prefer the instant pot!
2. When the chicken has about 10 minutes left to cook, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
3. Dice ham into 1/2 inch pieces, set aside.
4. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the cream cheese, butter, lemon juice and Dijon mustard. Set aside.
5. Lightly oil a 9×13 glass casserole dish with olive/avacado oil.
6. When the chicken is done, shred it in the casserole dish.
7. Stir the diced ham into the chicken.
8. Using a rubber spatula, spread sauce mixture over the chicken and ham.
9. Lay the slices of Swiss, overlapping half way for each piece.
10. Bake for 17 minutes.
11. Broil on high for 3-4 minutes following the name time!

🎵🎶🎵 This is the journey of the soul, it's the adventure of me.
No matter what I'm told, I know that I am free.
To roam my own way, to flow in my own sea.
To chase my own dreams on this adventure of me. 🎵🎶🎵
White coat official! I can’t put into words how this moment exactly feels, but I’m beyond excited and proud of far I’ve come. I’ve learned to appreciate that the journey is far more important than the destination, and I look forward to what the next two years entail. A big shoutout to my parents and brother who have provided unwavering support, and to those of you who sent good vibes! #cultivatewithkruti#occupationaltherapy#grateful
❓HOW DO I START YOGA⁉️ is probably the most common question I receive. So i decided to make this class/guide!
Take the full class here:
👉[or Take the abbreviated class on IGTV]
This is the sequence that i practiced with when I started and STILL practice to nearly every day (its beginner friendly yet works for advanced practitioners as well!) - as far as personal experience goes, I consider them to be my 'essentials'. For those just starting their yoga practice, I also added an introductory guide to breathwork - because...well...without breath, there is really no yoga (and no life..🧟♀️)
Follow along with this video - it's lengthy because it's meant to be a full class (if you'd like you can compliment it with "Flexibility Guide to Splits" and skip the first half of this video.
What you'll need:
4 blocks, 1 yoga strap (9 ft), blanket/pillows, yoga mat, wall (i used my couch/bookshelf for camera angle sakes, but use a wall to be safe!)
1. Breath work
3. Reclined Thoracic/Shoulder Opener
(Skip if you're practicing flexibility guide to splits)
4. Reclined Series: twist, hamstring stretch, half happy baby, reclined pigeon
5. Modified Downdog
6. Modified Forward Fold
7. Lizard Lunge
8. Half split
9. Extended puppy stretch
10. 3-legged Downdog
11. Pigeon stretch
12. Janusrisasana (seated tree): forward fold/side stretch
13. Half Frog
14. Cobra Pose
15. Supine Shoulder stretch
16. Seated Twist
17. Paschimotonasana (seated forward fold)
18. Reclined Pigeon with Wall
19. Reclined Straddle with wall
hope this helps some of you with your journey into yoga - or for those who just need to stretch! Happy stretching!

“So proud of U my honey”
Been thinking about him a lot recently.
Finishing out strong with these last few weeks of PA school...
I know he’d be so proud.
