AUSTRALIAN MEDITATION CONFERENCE It’s so special when you get to spend a weekend connecting with like minded people, at the same time as gaining a wealth of knowledge from incredible speakers. Covering so many topics such as neuroplasticity, resilience, consciousness, loneliness and connection, to the way our medical system operates both holistically and traditionally, and love and compassion just to name a few. I think it’s going to take me a few weeks in itself just to integrate all I’ve learnt in the space of a few days, and can’t wait to bring some new insights into my workshops and classes. Truly ground breaking to have a conference such as this, and to begin to hear the way the conversation around meditation and mindfulness is developing not only within the walls of the conference, but out in the wider community. 🙏✨💛

Distractions | We can get so busy, just in the daily momentum of life, we distract ourselves. We don’t give ourselves time to stop, to feel, to deal with what’s really going on.
My husband’s been away for the last 3 days and it’s created space for me. Evenings to myself. I love time to myself. It’s always been important to me. But it actually felt strange this time. I watched television to distract myself but actually emotions just needed to come up, processing stuff that’s been going on for me.
We all need to process our emotions, to allow them to come up, allow ourselves to feel. Otherwise they just becomes stuck in the body.
Are you distracting yourself? Do you need some time and space just to be, to feel?
It’s not always easy, it can feel uncomfortable and strange - but it’s worth it when you come out the other side.

Sometimes on the weekends it’s nice not to wear any makeup! Most of the day I try to give my skin a break! I try to hydrate myself as much as I can especially in this heat! 🔥

This week I talked about my 💄 makeup inspiration, and my mom is one of them! One thing I didn’t learn early enough is #skincare. I recently started to invest in products and really made an effort to understand what I need! Being in your 20’s is so different than being in your 30’s etc. Take some time to understand and notice the differences in your skin. Bliss balls galore for this afternoon's essential oils workshop. These ones are flavoured with either peppermint or wild orange essential oil. But it will be a lucky dip as I've jumbled them all together AND the drops coming out of the bottle got away from me so I suspect they may be a little too strong on the flavouring. Doh! 😀

I (like many) love ice cream.
But, if you ask my stomach that same question - you wouldn’t get the same response.
My husband wanted to grab ice cream after dinner tonight and I of course thought that was a great idea. Until now.
Right now my stomach is not feeling too great. So, I grabbed my ZenGest.
I took 2 drops and rubbed it directly on my stomach where it hurt.
It’s only been 10 minutes and I can already feel a huge difference. ❤️
Thank goodness for these oils!
They keep me and my family healthy ... and allow me to continue eating ice cream 🤣

I finally got my first bottle of Copaiba oil in for my muscle pain, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to buy it! This stuff WORKS!

Tylenol Extra Strength is $14.99 at Target for 225 count. If I were to take Tylenol (which I don't because the FDA has put crazy warnings out there for liver damage and it's STILL on the shelf with "New Warning Information"... but let's just play along), I'd take 2 pills. That takes the bottle to 112.5 doses. That means it costs me $.1332 per each dose.
Copaiba is $35 at wholesale prices for 250 drops. When I take Copaiba for pain, I put 1 drop under my tongue. That means each drop costs 14 cents. It's less than a penny more.
Plus, check this out... what else do you use your Tylenol for? Because I can use Copaiba for stress, anxiety, sleep, my crazy kids, and calming my spouse. I can rub it on my pain or swallow it. I can even do both if I'm really hurting. I can rub it on my kids any time I want without concern. I know it won't interact with any other drugs. I can take it and drive heavy machinery. I can even quadruple my dose if I really, really need it without any concern at all. And I don't have to freak out about the FDA warnings of liver and heart damage (seriously, you've seen these, right!?! So crazy it's still on the shelf. And don't even get me started about safety for kids... #bigpharma) Can you do that with Tylenol?
Dear Beloved Followers, Supporters, Clients, Friends: .
My husband and our kitty and myself have been monitoring the Taylor Creek Fire as it was a few miles from our little sanctuary cabin in the woods in southern Oregon.
Overnight, it tripled in size and was burning less than one mile from home, the winds shifted it, and instead of waiting for evacuation orders, we gathered bare essentials and have evacuated safely to a friend’s farm for tonight. .
It’s scary to experience it again this summer after the fires in southern Oregon last summer, but we are not fearful. .
We are divinely guided and protected and this and all situations are blessed with love, however it turns out. We are grateful and staying in acceptance is allowing us to keep going with the flow. .
This also means I left all of my crystals, my beads, my tools, suncatchers, books, etsy items, new works in progress, all of my art and I will be closing shop for a few to focus on what’s next. .
I love you all and am honored to be of service throughout the universe. I am cloaked in white light and we will be ok. Just don’t know what OK will look like. Or where. ❤️
Breakfast with a view: a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. 💙 I love that @kripalucenter starts each day with a silent breakfast to invite you to begin your day with contemplation. 💚 I absolutely love this practice. It’s so easy to wake up and just automatically check our phones or computers...and then to stay plugged in (and distracted) for the rest of the day. When in this distracted state, it’s harder to be mindful of what we’re eating or set an Intention for the day. 🤔
But starting your day with silence, while focusing on your food and surroundings sets you up for a more productive, less stressed, and more mindful day. 💙
I began my day teaching 6:30 am morning yoga as a guest faculty member, followed by breakfast, time to walk the grounds, read, rest, and then teach again at 4:15 pm. Finished the day with a soundbath led by my fellow @wellsummit presenter @saraauster (small world!) All in all, a lovely and nourishing (and very Kripalu!) day. 🧘🏻♀️💚 #whereintheomami#kripalu

Toast ✌🏻 ways. Almond butter and my mama’s strawberry jam and pumpkin butter and banana. Both #toasts topped with nuts and seeds and raw cacao nibs. This is a throwback to this weekends toast since I started the @bewell cleanse today. My hope is I can get some feedback about what’s causing my stomach pain and maybe break up (a tad) with caffeine. I’m going to modify the cleanse to include grains and beans since I’m not eating meat right now. I’m also going to eat plants, nuts and seeds if I’m hungry outside the 3 smoothies and 2 meals. I’m pretty active and not looking to change my body composition so this cleanse for me is all about gut health. 🙌🏻 Now time to snack on some veggies and crank out some work. Happy #toasttuesday
