Happy Sunday! The word says, “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Tune in next Saturday 8 PM eastern time to RMS sales training and inspiration. I’m excited to have my good friend from Chicago, Ray Topps on the show. Ray is going to be sharing some wonderful information about having a financial plan.
With only a few more weeks left of Summer Vacation, our excitement is growing. We’re eager to impart knowledge on another group of wealth builders this Fall. More programs. More Wall Street Tours.

To say I have been MIA lately is a slight understatement. But I’ve been busy. Busy doing things that set my soul on fire, like watching the sun rise at the beach and reading copious amounts of books. The kinds that make me struggle to remember if the plot line is something I read, or something happening in real life (which is slightly disturbing as I mostly read psychological thrillers). Because at the end of the day, life is the longest journey we will ever go on, so make sure you give a fuck about it. Make sure you use it. Do the things that make you so happy it hurts. @momentaryhappiness

Being successful isn’t magic, it’s being consistent.🏆
Did you know that your investment selection is among the most important determinants of your final superannuation balance?
The most recent MLC Wealth Sentiment Survey found that almost half of young women (aged 18-29) and 27% of women (aged 30-49) did not know their superannuation investment selection. That is, whether their super is invested in a conservative, moderate, growth or high growth option.

My Intro to Options presentation has gotten rave reviews, but if you don’t have a basic understanding of stock, then you can’t really get its true value. So it seems I need to offer an Intro to Investing course as well! If I was hypothetically to create the aforementioned course...what would you want to know about? 👀 What would your expectations be? To know how to buy a stock? How to read an earnings report? Which 5 stocks to buy to get started? Let me knoooow

We are big believers that life is meant to be lived. If you cut out everything you love just to get ahead your plan will likely fail because you are not happy. It is about moderation. So if you want that latte, go get it. #ThursdayThoughts#LifeIsMeantToBeLived#SmartSpending
There certainly are a lot more options now that we're on Baby Step 3...
Please note, I'm not sharing this to brag, but to inspire creative thought towards financial planning & share some ideas possible without debt 💖...
Although emergency funding is important, I've gone ahead with $200 weekly automatic RRSP contributions, to pay less taxes.
We're also contributing $100 biweekly to the kids' RESP (education fund). The gov't contributes up to $500/year, & we want to take full advantage!
It's important to setup regular, automatic payments for a few reasons:
1) Dollar cost averaging (buying at fixed, regular intervals rather than when you randomly have $) helps lower risk, as you're less likely to buy shares at the wrong time.
2) Making it a habit of not spending the extra $ helps push us to live within our means.
3) Compound interest is when you invest the interest earned on investments, so over time your $ grows faster - the sooner you start, the better!
I also have a personal goal of paying off our condo mortgage in 2 years, after which we'll sell it & buy our retirement house in Florida. We need to put $1k/week towards principle to achieve this.
The rest is going towards TFSA's for our emergency fund/daycare property. When that's done, we'll turn the fire hose on our house mortgage. I estimate just under 7 years, assuming no major changes 🏡❤.
What is your plan?
