I told myself I would get this tattoo when things got better. Because flowers always grow back from disaster right? Be it from winter, wildfire, or the entire damn ice age, flowers will always grow back. 🌿
Guys, I have begun my name change process. I've come out to my entire immediate family, I have an apartment and a bunny and roommates that fully embrace being queer. I wake up early in the morning and the first thing I do is make tea. I have marched in my city's Pride Parade. 🏳️🌈
My days used to feel so devastating, they were endless and pointless, my entire high school experience was just a feminine show that I put on trying to figure out why I wasn't happy yet. 😔
And now I'm about to graduate college, and every day I can feel my gender and my presentation and my confidence growing and changing and becoming who I was always supposed to be. Flowers will always grow back, and so can you 🌻
Thank you so so so much to @aliciathomas_art for such an awesome experience! I'll definitely be back to celebrate more milestones with you ❤️
Been a bit of a strange day..... nothing particularly wrong but just felt really low on energy and couldn’t settle to put my efforts into any one task..... discombobulated, that’s how I felt!..... I love that word!🤣 We’ve become so used to the sun shining, every day, and today was grey and chilly... it does affect the mood and especially when you’re an outdoorsy girl like me!
But look what happened this evening.... Yaaay! Glorious warm, sunny weather to end the day and bring a big smile to my face!☀️😃
Have a fabulous Friday evening everyone!❤️😘
👊Some move FAST...some move SLOW...the SPEED doesn’t really matter as long as you NEVER STOP👊 With a CLEAR destination ...the only thing that truly matters is the DIRECTION of your MOVEMENTS👊 We’ve personally seen SUCCESSES with FAST paced efforts but we’ve also seen SUCCESSES with SLOW and STEADY efforts...both producing the REWARDS we were working towards. If Your GOALS are clear and you keep MOVING towards them...you’ll eventually get the RESULTS you want👊 #ambitiousautopilots#autopilots#neverstopmovingfoward

It’s not always easy to get away from the mindset where we compare ourselves to others, where we feel they’re doing a better job than we are and we begin to feel anxious that we will never succeed in our career, social life, family life because others have cornered the market and there’s no bite of the cherry left for us!!
I am working hard at changing this mindset and I do believe in abundance. Positivity, in everything, breeds positivity. If we go around believing the sky is about to fall in...... well, you’re certainly not going to attract abundance, that’s for sure!
There really is enough for everyone and we should be happy for those, around us, when they succeed at something. We should be inspired by their success. And use it to spur ourselves on instead of reacting negatively with feelings of jealousy💗
Getting prepped for the start of the new programme, Liift4, next week and completing a few workouts this week to get in gear..... Really benefitted from my pre-workout energize today because I didn’t get to press play until late afternoon by which time I was flagging a bit. It really gives a boost of energy and helps to focus the mind.
Really loving these workouts!💪🏼🙌🏼💜
Exactly! This quote really rings true for me, I feel like I’ve overcome quite a lot in the last 18 months or so and whilst my initial goal was just to become more mobile, more active and, possibly, reduce my pain levels, I now find I’m setting goals for myself that I never would’ve dreamed of even 6/7 months ago!
I truly believe that the key to things, for me, is to keep raising the bar...just a wee bit at a time but, remembering to take a step back from time to time and give myself a pat on the back for getting this far!💪🏼🙌🏼
It doesn’t matter what speed we progress at as long as we keep moving forwards!💫
Homegrown courgette (zucchini for my friends in the US) and chicken fritters served on a mixed salad with a chilli jam.... Seriously tasty and perfectly healthy eating!😋 I’ll be listing a few of my recipes very soon and I’ll definitely include this one👍🏻
Never miss a Monday!💪🏼
Keeping the positive vibe up all day and just got a Piyo Sculpt workout in. I’ve been rushing around doing various bit and bobs around the house and was going to go sit down for a cuppa but didn’t want to waste those 30 minutes. So ran upstairs and pressed play instead!💪🏼🙌🏼
I know it’s not always easy but everyone can find that 30 minutes, a few times a week and, I promise, you’ll feel better for it!😉💜

Happy Monday everyone!🌸
Let’s start the week brimming with positivity and excited about the new opportunities that are going to be presenting themselves to us this week, let’s get our game faces on and hit the ground running........
or you can sit around and moan about it being Monday!
The choice is yours!😉🙌🏼
Rest day self care has involved some muscle rolling, which has really helped my tight hamstrings, and just a little yoga stretching which helps to keep my hips mobile and just feels good!...... I’m all for doing whatever makes you feel good!!😉💜
Taking today as a rest day for mind, body and soul..... Sometimes we’ll feel that rest days can’t come soon enough, other times we might feel like we don’t NEED a rest day but, believe me, we ALL need to take them! We have to replenish our reserves both physically and mentally.... if you want to, still do some light exercise- stretching, for example, or a little yoga.... or go for a walk but I’d advise that it’s built around the concept of relaxation.
We’re of no good to others when we’re tired out ourselves. There’s nothing selfish about putting yourself first!
Certainly, as women, we often struggle with that concept .... we put our husband, partner, children, extended family, dog, cat, goldfish..... before ourselves!! I was brought up in a time when sitting around doing very little was considered idle, I remember my mother yelling at me, when I was a teenager, because ONCE, just once, I slept in until maybe 10am...... the height of laziness! The fact that I was mentally exhausted from school exams held no bearing on me being “bone idle”!..... This was how it was, back then, but it certainly left me with the feeling that I should always be doing something! I shouldn’t be sitting reading a book or listening to music because it’s lazy! Guess what..... it isn’t! It’s absolutely essential to have downtime and there’s the world of difference between being the person who zones out for an hour or so, to recharge, and being a “lazy” person who refuses to do anything when asked, will not help others or, indeed, will not help themselves!
So, it’s taken me more years than I care to think about, to train myself into believing that it’s fine to, sometimes, do nothing.... absolutely nothing at all....... and enjoy it!💜 Have a great Sunday, whatever your plans are!💗🙏🏼💫
Super Saturday workout...... actually more like Sweaty Saturday!! Oh my goodness, it was a wee bit warm for cardio which, is not my favourite at the best of times!🔥🤨
However..... when you start seeing real results it spurs you on!
I started this whole “journey” in order to regain a basic level of health, fitness and mobility after suffering years of chronic spinal pain and many rounds of invasive and painful surgery. I even thought there might be a possibility of getting myself strong enough to return to work.
Well, I crushed all those goals and have surpassed all my own expectations of what I was capable of and, I guess, I’m now in unchartered waters, so to speak..... how strong and healthy can I really become?
I’m lucky that I’ve never suffered from any kind of self loathing as far as my body image has been concerned but I did hate the fact that my body was breaking down and letting me down. But..... once I really understood what I had to do, through diet, exercise and changes in lifestyle, I really started to love my body and once you start taking care of that magical machine, I’m beginning to believe that the possibilities are endless!!
We get just one body and it’s got to last us a lifetime which could well be 80 or 90 years, it’s crazy to think we can just fuel it with rubbish, ignore signs and symptoms of injury or illness, not give it enough quality resting time but, equally, not expose it to quality exercise and fresh air, allow it to become swamped with chemicals and fail to hydrate it properly!!........ Seriously! You wouldn’t treat a beautiful car like that so why treat your beautiful self like it?!🤷🏼♀️
Self love is massively important...... love yourself enough to look after your body and I believe a happier life will follow💞💪🏼
