🏋️♂️Movement- Kettlebell swings are one of my favourite functional exercises as they target the often weak posterior chain very well. This is a hip dominated hinge movement not a squat!🙏 So technique is very important with these, if you're just learning make sure you have a good coach that can teach you properly. 2018 has been such a blessing in so many ways to my present and future self. A huge force in this engine of growth, change, and happiness in my life is the phenomenal coaching, guidance, and association that is steering me on the right track. I’ve gained clarity in my decision making, the ability to visualize my why and stay the course in achieving that. For me, that looks like ownership of my time, freedom, financial acumen, travel, reading more, and allowing the right programming into my brain that influences my attitude, my emotions, my beliefs, which ultimately affects my ability to take appropriate action to own my life.

So, I hit a deer the other night.. Or it hit me, really. Super minor accident, took my driver side mirror off & put a couple chips in my driver side door window- BUT no dents. I’m super thankful that it wasn’t anything worse than it was. It scared me a lot though- enough to not want to drive at night anymore. This was my first time hitting something & of course it had to be a deer while going 75 down the highway.🙃🙃 So on a different note, just had a killer workout & I’m finally starting to feel like I was a few months ago. Consistency is key- getting in the gym when you really don’t want to is when progress is made.🙌🏼💕
