the best kind of happiness
in its purest form,
in comparison to sadness,
happiness beyond that. .
I’ve had many moments within myself, reflecting on what I believe happiness means to me. I used to think me being happy was an anomaly, I’ve broken that thought pattern. I think the pursuit of happiness is never ending. happiness comes in when you allow it to come in. Your headspace is everything. When you’ve decided to be happy, no one can take it away from you. Because you’ve given that to yourself 💫I captured this beautiful girl in a moment of pure happiness and I love this image for so many reasons but mainly because It radiates joy to me. It’s not what’s typically in my feed, but I hope to post more portraits like this. Because it makes me feel good, and isn’t that what it’s about?
Amazed that my photo, ‘Belly Button’, has made it onto the shortlist for Astronomy Photographer of the Year!
The photo shows Copernicus at the moon's terminator in the centre of the frame, with the crater half lit by the sun. It was shot through my telescope, with my DSLR attached to the viewfinder.
If there’s anyone out there that gets excited about camera settings and gear, here are the stats!

This #SummerInKent, whisk yourself away to the heart of Kent's lush countryside, where one of the loveliest castles in the world awaits. Flit through the grounds, laze on a boat on the moat, gaze at the sun-soaked stones of Leeds Castle. And breathe...

The Shakespeare Tavern on Saddler Street in Durham, North East England dates back to the 12th century 🍺🇬🇧
Allegedly one of the most haunted buildings in Durham, the former theatre box office used to be very popular amongst theatre actors and patrons in the 19th century, explaining its name! 🎭 Today, the historic pub maintains its charm and character, comprised of a small bar and larger lounge area at the back. Watch this space though...because The Shakespeare is soon to become known for a different type of spirit (😉👻), with a gin bar set to open on the first floor! How fa-boo-lous!? 🙋♀️👻
Had a lovely wander around Leith last night with @canistercameraclub. Great to catch up with old friends, explore a different part of town and chat about cameras. Highlight of the evening: ending up on the wrong side of the harbour and watching a banging sunset going on the other side of a multi storey car park 😬
Pretty streets of Edinburgh. I reckon you might know this one already 😉

Avoiding unpacking at the new place by escaping along the coast for a fish tea 💙 Also these are the first iPhone photos I’ve uploaded on my grid in FOREVER 🙈 More to come — I’m getting lazy with editing 😉 #storiesfromscotland

I can’t believe summer break is almost over! 😭 It went by so fast—and for good reason: time flies when you’re having fun, right?
Excited to spend a few days sunning myself here next month. Can’t quite believe this is in Britain and still can’t quite believe my mumma lives here now! 🌊🌊🌊

Forget about the tranquil waters of Bali, this weekend it’s all about the Costa del Kent. Folkestone is just 53-minute rail journey from London Bridge, and we hear the fish and chips isn’t bad, either. @se_railway#SEhiddengems
