This is my bed room! But what’s different than before is I put in a wall and window to separate the “garage” from the rest of the living space in the van. What’s nice about having the wall and screened window is I can pop open the rear doors of the van and turn on my ceiling vent fan which pulls air through the window! This creates a much needed cool breeze while sleeping on these hot nights! Lots of little details being added to the van!
“there is no desire that anyone holds for any other reason than that they believe they will feel better in the achievement of it. whether it is a material object, a physical state of being, a relationship, a condition, or a circumstance - at the heart of every desire is the desire to feel good. and so, the standard of success in life is not the things or the money - the standard of success is absolutely the amount of joy you feel.” ✨
My favorite summer hikes include lots of trees for their shade🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲☀️

There are greater rewards in stepping outside of your own comfort zone than there are in never breaking down the walls that you've built. It's time to take action. It's time to stay inspired. It's time to prove that we aren't all talk and we're not afraid of the risks.
Route-finding. We were hoping to not have to cross the river (which can be tricky with llamas, and if they break a leg you have to euthanize them), but of course we had to. // Day 1, The Winds

Authenticity. It’s a hard thing. Here I am balancing the “who the heck am I?!” With the “oh no, beautiful one, you are in the executive club, allow your butler to handle this”. ?? Here I am in my Under Armour gear, at a resort in Costa Rica looking at investment properties for the non-profit I founded. Don’t be impressed- I arranged this through Costco. I am an executive leader in worn out 10 year old adventure gear. Not sure where I belong- because the world is defined in boxes in which I don’t quite fit. Do you? Do you fit ... or do you belong? There is a huge difference. Are you trying too hard? Chasing after something you don’t quite know yet? Hustling for a dream someone else has and unsure of your own? I get it. I understand. But the moment when you let go and realize the boxes don’t really exist anyway is the moment you’ll realize you ARE. You just are. Stop trying to fit in and just be. Stop dreaming and just do. Stop trying to make sense and be accepted and just be ok with the statement “I want”. Stop defining yourself with “I am” and start saying “I enjoy”. And realize that it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else, it just has to feel in alignment with your true north. You can be the girl with exclusive access, and also the girl with a toe nail about to fall off from some adventure she experienced. The one who defines the finer things by exquisite foods that set a flavor explosion in your mouth AND by not showering for 11 days. You be you. The world needs fully you. Who the heck are you? Who the heck are you not to be?!

Couldn’t have asked for better conditions yesterday at one of Alberta’s most magical gems. I’m already planning my return trip to this in the winter.
PS Thanks Mother Nature for hooking us up with a real life Bob Ross Painting. How much do these clouds look like cotton candy 😋? Stay Adventurous Dear Friends!!
Wandering trails around camp on the last cool day of the summer... In a couple weeks, I’ll be meeting Adam and a few others up in Alaska to do one of our longest backpacking trips yet. Beyond excited on so many levels
