Recently I've been putting in more effort to make time for my hobbies, not just things that are 'useful' or work, and it's done wonders for me 🤗 My weekend got off to a good start with a trip to @coworthpark to have a polo lesson at @guardspoloacademy and it was SO much fun! When you're learning a new skill or doing one of your hobbies it's so amazing how other worries just melt away, and when I'm.playong polo there's no way I can focus on anything else 😂 If you fancy giving it a go lmk and I'll tell you more info! 🏇🏇🏇 #polo#horseriding#hobbyhorse#coworthpark#dcmoments
My very first mile done 😣 I know crap timing, but it bloody hurt 😂 the only exercise I get is touch rugby on a Monday night & walking to work & back Monday to Friday, running my mouth & jumping to conclusions 😂 My aim isn't to be doing miles & miles, I just want to keep doing the mile... but trying to better the time I can do it in.

Donate for Dogs! Will run for dogs!
Burning River 100 is less than a week away. My fellow volunteers from City Dogs and I are running for our canine pals. We’ll all be donning our City Dogs Running gear to bring awareness and raise money for our sweet, homeless canine friends
I’m tackling leg 5 of an 8 person relay - 15.9 miles! This section includes some of my favorite sections of the CVNP. It’s also hilly, muddy and covered in roots and rocks!
If your not familiar with City Dogs:
We are the adoption arm of Cleveland Animal Care and Control. All our dogs are picked up as strays in Cleveland. We try to reunite them with their families. When that fails, we throw our hearts into finding them new, loving FOREVER homes. Volunteers walk, hike and run with the pups, work events all over the city to raise awareness and socialize the dogs, facilitate playgroups, and sew, bake and crochet items to sell to benefit our cause.
But, we still need help.
Donations are necessary to attain the medical care they need, and the enrichment equipment that is critical to get them through their stay at the kennel.
If you have a few dollars to share for this cause, please donate at:
If you need a four-legged running buddy, we can help with that too!
☺️ #Running#Run#CourseàPied#Cardio#Courir#time2run#happyrunner#Paris
Progress is never linear // Writing my last blog post brought up all the memories of my marathon journey. I’ve ran 7 marathons, each one with a story... each one with a lesson... and not every one included achieving a PR, or my “A” goal.
Marathon 1 | 4:04
Marathon 2 | 4:48
Marathon 3 | 3:53
Marathon 4 | 4:06
Marathon 5 | 3:43
Marathon 6 | 3:40
Marathon 7 | 3:35
Out of everything becoming a marathoner has taught me, patience and resilience are the two things I hold onto most.
I’ve been slowly chipping away towards a big goal I’ve wanted for a really long time. Some of those race days I’ve gotten closer, and I’ve been heartbroken in the same breath because of it not being close enough. And that’s when the patience and resilience settles in. You think back to the meaning behind achieving that goal and align that with your current journey. So stay in your lane & look ahead - the dream is still waiting for you and there for the taking. 🔥

if i pretend i am in colorado, maybe today’s long run 🏃🏻♀️ will be just as ahhmazing 😛. i will report back later ✨. .
we are down to the final weeks of squamish 50/50 training. it will be the longest and hardest run i have taken on since 100 last may. in between that 100 miles and now — i worked on my patience, waiting for my body to catch up with my heart ♥️, stayed consistent even if it meant workouts that looked much different than what i was used to, kept the mileage in check, added in extra rest and i listened. and, right now, i feel pretty good. so, i guess we can start the countdown and embrace the final training sessions 👊🏻 - because it will be miles and smiles in squamish in t-27 days. now most importantly, how do i top the gold shimmer sports bra...? ⚡️✨.
happy sunday 😊
