Ultimately she chose to include the lift after discussing the pros and cons with Dr. Breister Ghosh. She received 300cc silicone implants in the submuscular position along with a mastopexy. Her incisions healed beautifully and will continue to fade over time!

A simple, but potent, breathing practice I use frequently called Sama Vritta, or equal part breath. Often times when we breathe naturally, there is a difference in the length and quality of the inhale and exhale. Sama Vritti creates a balance between by inhaling and exhaling to a specific number (I like to use 4), and then pausing at the top of the inhale, and bottom of the exhale, for the same amount of time. •
From my own experience, I find this technique grounding and effective when I need to reset and focus. It is also helpful if I am having trouble falling asleep, and seem to be stuck in my head or overthinking mode.
When I am teaching, I sometimes start the class with this technique if I noticed a lot of unsettled energy within the class. I almost always finish class with this prior to savasana. It serves as a nice transition from the movement and postures to the stillness of savasana.
Find a point today to try it out, it can be really informal - while you are driving, waiting for an email to send, walking the dog. Three to five rounds is a great starting place and amount of time. With any of these breathing practices, if they cause you to feel dizzy, lightheaded, or weird in any way- stop and breathe regularly. The important thing is to notice how you feel after shifting your awareness to using your breath in this way.
