My Life in Black and White 🖤 Click the link in my bio to read my stroke story. On May 20, 2018, I suffered a TIA, also known as a mini-stroke. I think it was the scariest day of my life. I woke up that day feeling very tired and not like myself. It inspired me to share how chronic illness is black and white...good or bad and how there’s no in between. For the next week or so I’m going to share a photo a day of what living with it is like. Day one is about IVs and trouble finding a vein. It’s HELL for me which is why I have a port but because I got TPA, my port was off limits...during my hospital stay this week they stuck me 14 times..some were in the same places as previous ones...OUCH. This is what my arms look like right now because of it 💉

Hello everyone! 👋
I have decided to start a little series where I will post a "Royal Kid" fact every Sunday. There are some really interesting ones to learn, so should be fun!
These facts will not be specific to any period, they'll relate to 1800s to 1900s Royal Children.
So I hope you all enjoy this little series starting from the coming Sunday, 27th May.
These had to go soon as they got off the boat from Medellin . Thank you Nike x @off____white 🤝 #Flip

When it comes to food, I’m a rule breaker!!! Dates are absolutely my favorite fruit I grow up eating in Iraq and still till today a huge part of my daily nutrition. There are so many types of dates in Iraq and in the world. Dates are very important in Ramadan for its tremendous nutritional value . They are the first thing you eat to break a long day of fasting. Some people eat them raw and some others like them cooked. I like mine all year long raw, chopped, dipped in Tahini with little bit of Himalayan salt and with some flavorful seeds and spices like anise, cardamom, cinnamon, chia seed, sesame seeds, hemp seeds or shredded coconut 😋
