"Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf. "- Albert Schweitzer. This is a tree which I spotted at our local park, blooming in the middle of winter. How many likes can we get for this beautiful tree?
Throw back to Bowser in all of his glory. I was lucky enough to accompany my buddy Travis Thomas as he was conducting @fwcresearch in the Suwannee River jn Florida. We found this 100lbs Alligator Snapping turtle, the biggest one I’ve ever seen in my life. These turtles are ambush predators that lure their prey in with a pink, worm like tongue. The unsuspecting fish swims in to the turtles mouth and then SNAP! Around 1,000 pounds per square inch comes crashing down. What a way to go...I don’t recommend getting your hands on one unless you’re helping biologists with research 😸. #florida#wilduntamed
