6 years of marriage. 3 kids. and they’re still the most wildly, happily, crazily in love couple I’ve ever met. (swipe to see more of what they’re really like 😂)
today is Sena + Eric’s six-year anniversary.
Eric is currently deployed - serving our country, unreachable, unknown whereabouts, unknown when exactly they’ll get to talk again.
Sena is kicking butt as a single mom while he’s gone. she’s raising three of the most precious children I’ve ever met (I get baby fever every time I’m around them) and she’s hands down the coolest mom + person you’ll ever meet on top of all of it.
and their story...?? ohhh man. to use my girl @mrslindseyroman ‘s word: “IT’S SAUCY” 😍😂
these two were friends. talking, casual, friends. they went on three dates (THREE DATES!!!!) before Eric deployed for 7 months. they sent letters back + forth... and then...
Eric proposed the same night he got home from deployment and these freaking wild child crazies got married A WEEK LATER at the Honolulu courthouse. Eric was 22. Sena was 20. to quote her “I wasn’t even old enough to buy wine... but GOOD NEWS, cos Eric bought it for me once he married me!!!” 😂👏🏼
6 years, 3 kids, and a beautiful life later... I’d say their wild plan worked out pretty dang well. 😂
in all seriousness... this is one of those marriages and couples that I look up to most in my life. Sena’s a person I’m ready to text or call any time of day for wisdom + insight. they’re the kind of friends where you leave the makeup off, the hair greasy, grab a bottle of wine, and head over for a chat... uninvited... and they’ll welcome you with the biggest “hello” of your life, and grab the wine glasses.
thankful for people like this who demonstrate beautiful, godly love with wild adventurous souls.
happy anniversary, Sena + Eric. you two inspire me. love you both more than you’ll ever know. 😘
who else has a wild love story like this?! I’m ready (with tissues, after writing this caption!!!!) to hear it! 😫👇🏼🤧😂
I'm far from patient when it comes to grabbing shots of any type of animal, excluding puppies, puppies all day. Nonetheless, when a Pronghorn Antelope gives you some classic Blue Steel glances you pick up your camera.
This sweet girl is going to kindergarten next week. And I can’t even wrap my brain around it. I’m gonna bawl my eyes out just like I did when her mamma went to school. It’s not always easy to make the “firsts” and I am so grateful that I have been to my fair share #familyiseverything
I always feel so honored to be a part of a couple’s wedding day. They trust me to capture intimate moments and I am so thankful for that. Congratulations Josiah and Ezri, everything about your day was beautiful!

8/10 | Bierstadt, Sawtooth, Evans Route:
I just put up a detailed trip report of Reptar and I’s traverse of Bierstadt and Evans via the Sawtooth. This was a technical, challenging, and enthralling hike with an end result that I’m stoked about.
Check the link in the bio for the report.
