My Dad taught me lots about tools. The first time I used a circular saw I was 8! Turns out I learned by watching him. (Of course he nearly had a heart attack when he came home mid play house build). Those skills come in handy now! Thanks Dad for teaching me how to make a house a home!
Well folks, I have officially started my first drive to my final placement on this road to my RN degree! 4 weeks and my life is mine again! Thanks to all of you that have supported me whether it was with actual school work, emotional support, and basic life coping skills haha! I promise one day I will become a full function adult!!!
As usual, I overdid it today. Had lunch with my college roommate and his fiancee who detoured up to the cities to see us. Went to the beautiful wedding of my wonderful former boss. (But baby didn't let me stay past dinner.) Husband was clever and got a hotel room near the venue since he knew I'd push myself too far. Now I get to rest and read with this view all evening. The aching, swollen feet and 1.5 hour long Braxton hicks = totally worth it. What a great day!
