Lupus fog -- the forgetfulness and fuzzy-headed feeling that can come with lupus. Lupus fog is a general name for the cognitive impairments that often appear with lupus, including concentration and memory problems, confusion, and difficulty expressing yourself.
Things that have helped that i do everyday are 1. i put things in writing! I love my @fitbodyfusion app for this because i can put my workouts in for the week and a reminder will go off. Not that i will forget to workout but i will forget what i did so it keeps me on track 2. I prioritize what i will do for the day as well as what im eating. If its going to stress me out it goes to the bottom of my list 🤷🏽♀️ 3. Reducing stress which mama 🐻 has helped me get under control through yoga, meditation, and yoga work. I tend to use a ton of essential oils though the day as well for stress relief and meditation. 4. Getting enough sleep now this is something i struggle with but its getting better. I use @foursigmatic hot cacao at night with @curednutrition and it has helped to relax me for a better nights sleep
Do not be afraid to fail. Less than a year ago I could lift some seriously heavy weight. I could do 100 push ups without stopping. I could do 1 handed pull ups without any issues. Now, after a serious surgery on my arm which I have only recently been cleared from and a kidney disease that won’t leave me alone, I am just now getting back into it all. I can do 100 push ups, but only 10 at a time and it hurts like hell. I am not even supposed to lift weights. Pull ups scare the shit out of me because of my arm and I can only do about 5 with both hands before it hurts like hell. But one thing I love about @360degreehealth is that it is okay to fail here. No one judges you. We should all fail. Failure means we are doing something that is challenging. Being challenged motivates you. It pushes you to try harder, to do more, to come back stronger. Yes, some of us like to give each other a little shit (I’m looking at you ) but it’s all in good fun and never disrespectful. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO FAIL. Be afraid of quitting. There is no growth in quitting but there is unlimited potential for growth in failure.
Admire. What an interesting word.
When we admire someone, we are using a part of ourselves I believe needs to be flexed more often, curiosity.
We're so good at judgement, good vs bad, dismissing because they lack an immediate purpose. 🌹
Let's use a self control and build the habit of working on ourselves while being curious about other people. We dont have to fix everyone, it's enough to know them, their stories, their fascinations. 🌿
