(My thoughts as we watch the sunset) We’ve been in Australia a month now and this country has exceeded our expectations. We’re settled into our new home and I landed a laid back office job. Everything has been going better than expected. It almost seems to good to be true. I’m amazed at what this country has to offer and we’ve only just scratched the surface. Now that we’re settled in, we can start exploring and living our best life. #johnsthoughts

Have you ever asked yourself why you don’t watch the process of where “bacon” comes from before you eat it?
Have you asked yourself why you don’t watch the consequences of a sentient beings life who was raped and secretions (milk) were stolen before you have milk in your coffee?
On Friday nights in Brisbane city, we expose the horrors that are swept under a rug to not be seen - the animal holocaust happening behind closed doors. We spread the truth of the practices in the meat, dairy and egg industry. -No haters on the people in the industry, for they have been bought up to believe that animals are objects & this is a way they should make money.
In under 4 hours of activists gathering and spreading truth, Over 120 humans said they have decided to stop eating animals And line their actions with their ethics.

THIS IS PRICELESS! I’m blessed to witness the love ❤️ among my grandchildren ages 13-4! This is just one of the precious moments of close cousins! I can definitely say they soaked up the fun these past two days! Some moments were only captured by my heart! Watching Shane hold out his arms & assuring Savannah he would catch her when she jumped off the porch & later see them walk to the house holding hands. I observed Sam giving Savannah a special horse stirrup piggyback ride. They swang & twirled on the circle swings hanging from the big 🌳 tree in the yard! There was a short t-ball game until little man swung so hard the t-ball post broke, then it was time to run or ride bikes! Several popsicles were devoured around trampoline time! Of course there were some rides in the saddle while Kaitlyn carefully walked Jewels in the yard. There was plenty of time to play with 3 rambunctious little kittens & 4 dogs 🐕! A little Minecraft time until dinner was ready. Now it was time for the big slumber party, pj’s on, all cozy with a blanket & propped up on pillows to watch a movie 🎥 & eat popcorn 🍿! They finally quit laughing 😆 & talking & got some sleep 😴. What’s so exceptional about this time? Sam & Savannah are moving to Florida 🌴 and it will be awhile before they have another day to Soak Up The Fun!
As for me I was there to soak it up too! As you can see these are part of my big WHY for joining Rodan + Fields! You can have your romantic, fancy cities and posh luxury locales. But there's just something about joining the one you love like @jeeegan here on Ubirr Rock and pulling them close to whisper "CU in the NT" xo.

Which Country is the Greatest Threat to World Peace? (2013)
The map shows the results of a 2013 WIN/Gallup International survey asking people which country they felt was the greatest threat to world peace.
According to the survey results:
The US was the overwhelming choice (24% of respondents) for the country that represents the greatest threat to peace in the world today. This was followed by Pakistan (8%), China (6%), North Korea, Israel and Iran (5%). Respondents in Russia (54%), China (49%) and Bosnia (49%) were the most fearful of the US as a threat.
Interestingly, Iran was seen as the biggest threat by Americans, Canadians and Brits, but Australians viewed the US as the biggest threat.
Regional rivalries were also common, for example South Koreans think of North Korea as the biggest threat to world peace, the Japanese, Vietnamese and Filipinos think of China as the biggest threat (although China views the US as the biggest threat to peace), Indians view Pakistan as the biggest threat (although Pakistan does not return the favour, instead focusing on the US as the biggest threat) and Poles view Russia as the biggest threat to World Peace.
The survey methodology:
In each country a national probability sample of around 1000 men and women was interviewed either face to face (34 countries), via telephone (11 countries) or online (20 countries). The field work was conducted during September 2013 – December 2013. In general the error margin for surveys of this kind is +3-5% at 95% confidence level. The global average has been computed according to the share of the covered adult population of the surveyed countries.
