Nature’s thermal springs 🌴 the water here hovers around 34 degrees, it’s crystal clear, surround by palms and if you’re lucky you’ll spot a couple of snapping turtles. The Australian outback has got it all 😻

It’s been so long since I posted on here, but last nights sunset was too good not to share 🤷🏼♂️ You might have seen the iPhone version of this in my story... but it just didn’t do it justice 🌞

Did you know the ship began its journey back to Osaka Japan in 1935 by tow, linked to another boat by chain. On this voyage the ship found itself in the middle of a seasonal cyclone off Fraser Island's coastline and lost its link to the other ship, which soon disappeared. It then washed upon the shores of 75 Mile Beach. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖Follow 👉🏼 @travlrnation_ For More ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖📍 Fraser Island, QLD Australia 📷 by @snapair
Happy Monday, Modies! ☀️ It can be easy to dread Monday morning if we have a super jam-packed schedule for the week. 😮How can we shift our perspective to make Monday more enojyable? 😍Check out some of our tips to get your mindset stoked for Mondays: ➡️Make a yoga date with your best mate each Monday arvo or evening
➡️Make a list of all your "to-dos" for the week and check them off one by one as you finish them ➡️Start each busy day with a meditation to help you slow down and prepare for the high energy for the day
➡️Download a podcast or two that you've been curious about. Listen to it during your commutes to and from work ➡️Take a FULL hour to disconnect from all technology an hour before bed. Crack open a book, take a bubble bath or meal prep for the following day

Peplums make everything feel better ♥️
My neck and right shoulder is all stiff and sore from being landed on in my touch grand final on Saturday night!
Plus I’ve managed to catch the flu over the weekend too along with my 5yr old!
Rest for us today until my appointment with my accountant this afternoon for some EOFY organisation!

And so Dark Mofo draws to a close for another year. This festival seems so much a part of the seasonal cycle of our city it seems strange to think that just a few years ago the town would have been devoid of people, focused on charging through annual hibernation. I can respect that some people don’t get what it’s about, and that some feel confronted by large scale installations that prompt a reaction and passionate debate - why wouldn’t they, that’s the idea! Why are so many so afraid to have their ideas challenged? If you are so strong in your convictions then will a little art shake them? If you are so open minded then why is respecting that others have different ideas (if not the ideas themselves) so difficult? If you don’t like it, don’t go, lie back and think if the tourism dollars. If you are so outraged that you are moved to write a letter to the editor then do it, the debate is part of the festival. But looking to thwart the debate by discontinuing support for the event (looking at you Ron) well that’s a slippery slope to book burning. #darkmofo#pttr2018#hobart#hobartandbeyond#hobartwaterfront#constitutiondock#tasmania#tassiepics#tassiestyle#tasmaniagram#discovertasmania#seeaustralia#australiagram#tasmuseum#tmag

Weekday Falls, Literally. 💧
Spent an afternoon this week shooting Somersby Falls for the first time, with @steph_vella. Navigating around the wet rocks trying to find the best compositions proved tricky, with one of us slipping and falling trying to get the perfect comp (no cameras were harmed), but who was it? 🤔😂
Courts Island under the moonlight. This little island can be found on the southern tip of the Bruny Island near the lighthouse. It makes for a great shot and is a beautifully serene place to spend the evening. Thanks to @brunyislandau for putting us up on our stay on Bruny Island, and to @davey_rogers for getting me over there. I was pretty impressed with my first trip to Bruny, great food and spectacular scenery. #discovertasmania
