U glasu svjetla, cujem blagi, tihi smijeh...
Onaj, koji govori srcu, veoma direktno i veoma daleko od mojih rijeci... Smijeh, sto podize sjecanje svjetla u nama samima, osjecaja vjecnog mira u kolijevci...
Umirujuce topline majcinog narucja i stabilne podrske oceve prisutnosti.
Ono, što ostaje kada sve prolazi. Što biva i diše, zajedno - svakim udahom i izdahom.
In the voice of the light, I hear a warm, subtle smile... The one which speaks to the heart, very direct and very far from my words.
It is the one, bringing remembrance of our own shine, infinite peacefulness of the cradle... Calming warmth of mother's bosom and fathers presence support.
That, which remains when all passes away. Which is and breathes, in unity - with every inhale and exhale.
A very important mantra to remind yourself what your purpose is. We are here 🌏 for a short number of years and we want to make them worthwhile in terms of our contribution and fulfilment. Are you living out your purpose?
How do you know if you are?
You are living out your purpose when you are happy and good at what you do, that it feels in alignment with who you are - there is no resistance. If you don't know what your purpose is yet, you need to remind your consciousness (your knowing soul) to remind you what that is.
Start something new this week, try something new, take a course! It's all about asking, seeking and your awareness to discover your purpose. If you seek it will find you...
THE LONGING THAT CALLS YOU HOME
You don't need to go 'beyond' suffering.
Suffering has no interest in 'beyond'. It needs a lot more heart than that. (Only the mind dreams of a 'beyond'). Suffering longs for your curiosity. Your kind attention.
Your breath. Your tears and your trembling.
It wants a mother, a father.
It is an orphan.
It wants all of you, not half.
It wants you to come closer. It wants you to enter.
And be curious. And step out of conclusions.
And touch a moment. Touch a moment without bias.
Touch into anger. Touch into sorrow.
Touch into terror. Touch into your
unwillingness to touch into
Touch the untouchable parts.
Not all at once. Not all today.
Just a moment at a time.
A moment. And then, survive it.
And breathe. And a moment.
And, survive it. And breathe.
Even the most painful feelings.
The most profound despair.
The sharpest grief.
The deepest feelings of unworthiness.
The parts that cry, "We are bad". Survivable. Tolerable.
Bearable. For a moment.
And then, maybe acceptable.
And then, maybe embraceable.
And then, maybe, even loveable.
Not parts of you to destroy.
But parts of you to care for.
Parts longing to be included.
Disowned parts, seeking the Light.
Orphans of the Light.
Refugees for the Light.
You don't need to go 'beyond' suffering.
There is no 'beyond' for the heart.
For the heart is pure Presence.
And the way through suffering
is through suffering,
through and only through.
And the 'beyond' is really the immanent in disguise,
and the sacredness is in the ache itself,
and the transcendent is in
the fucking mud and the dirt and the blood.
And you are whole even when you do not feel whole.
And your suffering is your nostalgia,
the powerful longing that calls you home. - Jeff Foster #jefffoster#acceptance#yestothemess#mindful#meditation#enlightenment#trauma#selflove#courage#blessed#beherenow#gratitude#yoga#yogaeverydamnday#selfdiscovery#freeyourmind#innerpeace#awareness#zen#awaken#meditateeverydamnday#spiritual#spirituality#consciousness#inspiration#recovery#healing#therapy#meditate#mindfulness.

An incredible cleanup in Seal Beach yesterday, with just 60 dedicated volunteers who collected a whopping 455.75 lbs. of trash with 26 lbs of styrofoam! Among the large groups included; St. Lucy’s NHS, Cub Scouts Pack 306, SMIF Jr. and Driver SPG. Big thanks to all who came out to enjoy the morning and support our cause. See you at our next (special) cleanup scheduled Aug. 4 at HB Pier (north side). For more info, visit us at hsbsurfrider.org

Swiss Arctic Project: Day 5, Sunday 22. July 2018, 15h55
Pyramiden (79°39’N / 16°20’E)
Knots are holding, the motor stops, and I set foot on the abandoned Russian prestige town Pyramiden. It was abandoned by its thousand inhabitants in the year 1998. During the Soviet Union it had been partially dependent on the northernmost mine of the world high up in the mountain. However, the economic success was bound to the conditions of the Arctic and it was impossible to finance during the time of Glasnost. In only two days’ time, the entire population was evacuated from their homes. The spirit and the mystic they left behind can still be felt today:
Wonky walls. Empty swimming pools. Broken windows have fallen onto pictures drawn by school children. The buildings are now the home of numerous birds and curious polar foxes.
A Russian village under Norwegian law governed by nature.
In the cultural centre, where once women and men have danced and music was played, we discovered a painted wall. It showed the glacier of Nordenskiölbreen in 1978. A glance outside of the window reveals that either the Russian painters have suffered from a drunken megalomania, or well… the glacier lost tremendously in volume.
Isn’t it absurd? Do we really want to leave behind entire towns where only paintings reveal that once glaciers decorated the landscape?
Today I faced one of the hardest venues for someone with a chronic illness. It’s summer so of course it’s festival season ☀️☀️☀️ Somewhere that would typically give me much anxiety and was made harder by the fact that I’m seriously struggling at having body positivity at the moment. I was left in a complete panic attack the night before trying to choose something to wear that didn’t leave me feeling ashamed of my appearance but woke up brave enough to put on what felt right for the occasion. ☀️☀️☀️ Many would believe it to be next to impossible for someone of my shape to have weight insecurities but it’s something I have always judged myself on and at times hold much embarrassment about and so today I did myself proud in putting myself out there and just enjoying a moment for what it was. ☀️☀️☀️ I am absolutely shattered with a whole weeks of ten hour shifts ahead of me so I’m sure I will regret this tomorrow tho I didn’t drink too much to be safe.
More than anything I am finishing the day on a high in the knowledge that despite all I am facing I am slowly becoming the woman I always wanted to be. Not anything more than whole heartedly content..that’s enough for me 💗
“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.” ~John Muir
Nature can teach us a lot about ourselves. John Muir was a famous naturalist and environmental philosopher. He made many observations on the nature of man as well as the nature that surrounds us. If we listen closely, we can hear the lessons that nature exhibits naturally. Just as all things are connected in nature, all things in our body are connected as well. Within our bodies, there exists a connection from the bottoms of our feet to our foreheads. Nothing exists in isolation, in our bodies or in the universe. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED. •
Take the time to observe and listen to the lessons of nature....
Be strong and rooted like the EARTH⛰
Flow without resistance like WATER🌊
Take action and move like WIND🌪
Burn strong and intense like FIRE🌋
Nature does all these things naturally, and our bodies can do the same. Feel free to leave any thoughts below, and stay tuned for more videos later today 😎✌🏽😌✌🏽 P.C. @jordanlacsina

Just as you would wash your body daily (i hope 😂) clean your mind, clear out all negative thoughts, destress yourself and then refill it with positive thoughts, goals, and dreams. #clean#mentalhealth#awareness
Please inform/invite all young women ages 13-19 to register for the below event!
Young Women's Empowerment Foundation (YWE) introduces My Sisters' Keeper, an educational event discussing sexual assault and domestic violence.
In the direction of women's empowerment, YWE believes in educating, informing, and empowering young women in learning how to identify sexual assault and domestic violence, how to recognize the signs when you or a friend (sister) is a victim of sexual assault and/or domestic violence, and how to seek help and resources within the community.
This is a free event!
Due to the sensitivity of what will be discussed, young women ages 13-19 are invited to attend!
There will have a physical activity, back pack giveaway, and fun!
Mental wellness basics: Here are 3 things things I want you to try this upcoming week for increased self awareness (knowing yourself better=living better)🌻 1️⃣Ask yourself how you are feeling whenever you remember to
2️⃣If you notice something or someone is frustrating, annoying, or aggravating you- ask yourself if you can change in some way to make the situation better, if not, do yourself and everyone around you a favor and accept it and LET THAT SHIT GO.
3️⃣Every time you remember, notice your surroundings while taking a deep breath into your stomach- what do it smell? See? Is it hot, cold, medium temperature? What does it feel like to touch the wall, the leafs of the bush im walking past? What do my foot steps sound like? What eye color does the person I am talking to have?
Let your light shine. 💥
.When we know we hold the light within, our instinct is to shine it upon all those who are blinded. There will be people who will not accept your light because maybe they have some crap to deal with. Yes crap! Because unless we are dead, we are capable of doing anything. There's people who get so caught up on the little things that they will ruin their day and yours. We all need healing, we are all fighting a battle. But how can we heal, when were surrounded by people who are dramatic, or negative. "You can lead the horse to the water, but you cannot make it drink it." The same goes with people. If they do not appreciate your light, then walk away. There's so many beautiful, gentle and kind people in this world. Who treasure everyday, and everyday is a gift. As much as we wanna love and accept people with their flaws. There is some darkness that we do not need in our lives. All we gotta do is walk away with lots of love in our heart. They will eventually align with our path. Meanwhile, lets keep shinning our light to those who really want it.
. The light is valued, and negativity will not enter it. .
