LIIFT4 Day 1- complete!!!! 💪
This fella joined me this morning before golfing to start the new program we will be doing together!!! Vacation has nothing on us 😉 (unless you ask him LOL)
Even though it is so tough to convince yourself to workout on vacation, it feels SO GOOD when you’re done! This is a lifestyle- not an easy, 4 week fix. And I’m so excited he’ll be joining me for the next 8 weeks! 🤗
Happy Monday!! I cannot believe 10 weeks ago I started this 80 day obsession, and I have stuck with it! I absolutely love the way it makes me feel on the inside, and I am noticing my changes on the outside!!
It took me a while to say yes to Beachbody, and I am so glad I finally took the chance! It has totally changed me for the better, so much so that I decided I wanted to do this for others as well! I just want to remind everyone who don’t see results for a long time to just be patient and consistent because eventually your body will give up and the weight will drop again. 😁 I never ever thought I would see myself in the 140s again and voila my consistency has paid off. ⭐️ This morning was a hard workout as I did Push Circuit 3; Chalean Extreme. My muscles 💪🏼 are still shaking from how heavy I lifted.
I was afraid that it would be hard to force myself to workout after missing a couple of workouts last week from being sick. But my alarm went off and I was able to roll out of bed right away ready and excited to push myself and feel strong. 💪🏼 #chaleanextreme#chalenejohnson#iamstrong#beachbodycoach
It’s Monday, Good Morning, and a start to a new week! 💃🏽
My goals I set for myself scare me every single day, but if I didn’t step outside of my bubble I would still be where I was a year ago. Thank goodness I pushed fear aside, let faith move me, and believe in myself.

I am super excited to see where this program takes me. I have thrown away(*cough*hidden) my scale for this season and am going to focus on:
✅a healthy heart and mind,
✅shrinking my measurements,
✅increasing my strength and
✅how my clothes fit.
So don’t mind me I’ll just be over here living my best life.

It's our first day of #liift4 and we couldn't be anymore excited 😁. For the next 8 weeks we plan on pushing our limits and seeing how strong we can get mentally and physically. The next 8 weeks we'll be working out 4 days a week for 30-40 mins incorporating lifting and HIIT cardio. We will be practicing a more flexible diet, with an occasional adult bev. Day 1—> Day 60 —> Day 168. Changes can happen slow or they can happen fast! When I first saw those numbers I was pretty discouraged. 😫
My body has changed in other places though! My stomach has gone WAY down and my arms are getting stinger! 👏🏻 THIS. IS. NOT. A. RACE. This is now a lifestyle and no longer a diet to lose weight! 💕 .

You don’t need a January or a catalyst or a special occasion!
You just YOU! You need a WHY... because when you have a clear vision and purpose that will keep you moving forward in the toughest of times.
And most of all... you need to remember that YOU TOO are so important!!! So important that you should actually KEEP the promises and commitments you make to yourself like you keep those you make to your little ones and those you love!!!
When we pour into our cups first, we can better pour into those cups of the ones we love!!!

Day 1 of LIIFt 4 ✅ Today was hard. Last week I was riding my high or no modifications and this week back to square one with new moves, new challenges, new goals and a new program. •
I have shied away from change many many times but have learned to embrace that complaining about the same exact thing over and over again keeps you right where you are. CHANGE is GOOD!! Excited to see my results in 8 weeks. •
Overall Goal: build muscle 💪🏻
We live in a world where there is something wrong with all of us - and everyone has a solution for it.
I'm sorry if I've ever made you feel inferior - not good enough. And I'm sorry for everyone else too because they'll never get off their high horse and admit it.
You are right where you're supposed to be - whether you're at the highest of highs or lowest of lows. The thing is, this social media stuff? Most of it is fake - there I said it. Everyone is showing you the highlight reel, not the real life ish we go through because what fun would that be.
But wouldn't it? To know that we're not on this roller coaster alone? To in fact know that I'm not the only momma with a crazy toddler pushing me to my limits or a momma struggling with her post baby body or not feeling sufficient in work and life and friendships and marriage?
So I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. I'm here to support you on your journey regardless of where that is. I'm here to tell you that you're seeing this post for a reason. I'm here to tell you that there is someone out there waiting to hear your message and your story. I'm here to tell you that you're made for more, so much more. I'm here to tell you that you are, in fact, perfect.

I am doing the damn thing! This morning was day 1 of LIIFT4, a brand new BB program. I woke up and jumped out of bed, excited to get started. It is a lift and hiit program and based on this morning it will really challenge me! I am working on my form for this move and I hope to increase my speed for a move like this as the program progresses. I have set goals, taken measurements and photos and I am ready to have my butt kicked for the next 8 weeks! I DID IT!!! Started my weight loss journey Sept 2016 and today I finally made Lifetime Status at Weight Watchers!! Down 60 lbs!! Despite all the challenges I faced this past year with my 2nd battle with cancer I pushed through. I feel HEALTHY, STRONG, CONFIDENT and PROUD! This is freedom.
This is freedom from food regret. Freedom from mental scrutiny. Freedom from scale obsession. Freedom from guilt. Freedom from plateaus.
At the end of my second round of #80DayObsession, I’m feeling better than I ever have before. I’m in the best shape of my life not just physically but mentally and emotionally, too.
I KNOW it sounds crazy that a fitness program has changed my life in so many ways. But the community, the achievement, the positivity, and the constant empowerment makes this so much more than a workout. I wake up every day eager to connect with the community of people we’ve pulled together.
They’re people just like you, who want something better for themselves and their lives. They’re striving to find healthy ways to make themselves a priority while still being there for others. They are professionals, friends, sisters, brothers, wives, husbands, who are choosing to spend 30-60 minutes a day on themselves so they can pour fully into others now and in the future.
This isn’t about your pant size. It’s not about the number on the scale. It’s not about never putting a carb to your mouth, or being terrified of sugar. This is about being physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy. It’s about recognizing that you are important too, and that it’s OKAY to make yourself a priority in a world where people scoff if you do.
I want to be your cheerleader. The shoulder you lean on. The person who helps you see potential within yourself when you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to find it.
I’m doing this for the #women who look in the mirror and pick themselves apart. I’m doing it for the #SAPros who are so drained and fearful of taking time for themselves. I’m doing it for those struggling with #mentalhealth who try relentlessly every day to find the silver lining. I’m doing this for the #collegestudents who are stuck in the comparison game.
