The mystery Warbler, Brewster’s Warbler, this individual is a second generation hybrid type of the Golden-winged and Blue-winged Warbler, these species hybridized so often, they’re types have been given names Brewster and Lawrence’s Warbler. I observed this species, Golden and Blue Winged in New York yesterday, where there are some seemingly stable populations breeding. Photo by Sean Graesser (@gourmetbiologist)
The Semipalmated Plover can be easily overlooked since its feather pattern helps it blend into the varied background of gravel bars along the rivers and ponds that it usually nests upon. ⠀

I love Hummingbird hierarchy, when large numbers of Hummingbirds are in close quarters feeding, they can creat quite the pecking order. This Lesser Violetear, was king of this stick, whenever anyone got close to it, he’d fly off buzzing them away, than promptly return to look over his kingdom.
Red-legged Partridge (Rødhøne) is luckily a common and colorful bird in Extremadura
