If history has shown us anything, it’s you can either stand by and watch, sometimes even contributing to the hell occurring to others., or you can be the few that stand against, and choose to help and love others. There’s no in between.
Walk in any historic cathedral, and you’ll be wowed by architecture invented and achieved by men with no names, who spent their entire lives building one structure. A structure that’s also filled at the ground level with imagery that depicted the fear of Hell and the terrible life one had to endure while on Earth. At the same time these massive structures were made to direct eyes to heaven, with beautiful art, gold and silver sculptures and precious stones and the promises of a better after life.
For me it’s a reminder of how natural it is to succumb to fear, to feel helpless, us vs them. But how many millions of lives could’ve been altered, by simply experiencing love and joy. It’s always a choice, life or death, action or inaction.
Happy Tuesday💦 This is a shot of Takkakaw falls early in the morning as I was starting up on a trail. It may not look like it from this faraway perspective, but the falls are over 300m tall. On another note; I’m rooting for Argentina 🇦🇷 in the world cup. Who you got? ⚽️
