Is there a better way to spend a Saturday than riding waves like this?
Note to self: it’s not too late!
I put off many of my workouts until last minute this week.
I put them off when I worked.
I woke up to workout before my shift and had a headache...I can do it after work. Well then I got off work late... As you can see, one thing led to another.
Instead of giving up on my entire week, I have gotten in two solid workouts the past two days.
It’s crazy how efficient 30 minutes heavy lifting and HIIT workouts are!
The fact that you can have success even if you put off your workouts until the end of the week freakin thrills me.
You are never too old and it’s never to late to embark on your journey!
It’s another chapter to add to your story.
If you struggle with time or procrastinating, know that I am here for you!
If you want to get in on these new efficient 30 minute workouts, 4 days a week, I got that for you too!
Who’s looking to quit putting it off? •

Boards, just like people - often times the most fun ones come with a little wear and tear. You don't make good stories staying in pristine condition. #getoutside and enjoy the journey
Any guesses what my plans are for these cool boards? 🤣

Hey peeps! Just wanted to update y’all on what I’ve been up to! BOARDS...*gulp*...the dreaded National Board Dental Examination (NBDE) Part 1. I’m officially a 3rd year Dental Student and am currently on a summer break! Sadly, the break doesn’t truly start until after Boards for me. But that’s okay because I took a longer break anyway since I didn’t start studying until later 😅. Anyways, I’m currently studying for my NBDE 1 and I’ve been trying to stay productive (mostly)! The NBDE 1 consists of 400 multiple choice questions including the following topics:
- Human Anatomy, Embryology, Histology
- Biochemistry and Physiology
- Microbiology and Pathology
- Dental Anatomy and Occlusion
For the first time in so long, I’m actually writing handwritten notes! It’s such a weird feeling for me. Typically, since I cram all my exams (idk I guess I’m just fast at memorizing and keeping things in my head the day or two before an exam), I’ve never written out notes. But because the NBDE 1 is obviously not an exam I can cram, I realized I’m starting to forget what I’ve learned. Especially in biochemistry since a lot of the info is detailed, I decided I had to take notes and I’m super glad I did! Makes for quick review sessions since it’s on paper. My time is ticking and I feel there’s not enough time in the day to cover what all I still have left. Lots to do, so little time. But I’m being active and productive in my studying now so it’ll pay off!
I really appreciate you all that have joined me on my journey through dental school and your continuous support! It’s truly appreciated, it inspires me, and humbles me. Also, I’m almost at 1K followers on this account (my dental account) wooh!! I’ll be doing an “About Me” post once I hit 1K to reintroduce myself to those who are new in joining my journey😊
Who else is studying for Boards? Do you typically type your notes, write them by hand, or like me just memorize it in your head? 🤯
