Today was a sad day at work. Today we lost our sweet little George the Wonderpus. Yesterday, his arm got stuck somewhere, and it detached somehow. He tried so hard to push through, but was not able to survive the regeneration process.
Today we gave him a funeral service with a Burial at Sea. We made a small paper boat (our of biodegradable paper of course) to lay him to rest in, and each of us that were there placed a flower in the boat with him. We then sent him off to be one with the ocean. Rest in peace little Georgie pie.
"See the marketplace in old Algiers, send me photographs and souvenirs. Just remember when a dream appears, you belong to me." I'm a bit apprehensive about posting this, but I worked very hard on embellishing this set, and I have always adored vintage pinups so I'm doing it. Also, I'd like to point out the fact that I'm technically underweight for my height and still have skin spillover at some angles. It's just what it does. I could have edited it out, but I don't like photoshopping my body or face because it continues to perpetuate a false standard for beauty that no one can live up to. Instead I want to remind you all that you're beautiful just as you are. Self improvement is a wonderful thing to strive for, but please do not judge your appearance based on magazine covers. Those are so photoshopped that half the time they're hilariously disproportionate when you look at them critically. Strive to look how YOU want to, and remember we're all only human! ❤️ #cosplay#elizabethcomstock#burialatsea#bioshock#pinup
