This is the first time IN A LONG TIME that I’ve had a solid leg workout and didn’t feel light headed. Idk what has been going on but most of my leg days I get super light headed and nauseas 🤔🤢 so I’m pleased to say that today’s #legday was a success 🎉

Just speaking the truth! If you aren't going to invest in yourself now, my suggestion to you is this, start a side savings account. That way you can pay to take care of your health issues later. It will cost you FAR more later, to fix not investing in yourself today!!! No joke! So you can invest NOW, or pay later. Either way, you will invest!!! Pick TODAY and don't look back.... В 20-и минутную тренировку входит блок из 5 упражнений :

⠀ ⭕️Отжимания - 15 раз
⠀ ⭕️Пресс - 20 раз
⠀ ⭕️Приседания - 20 раз
⠀ ⭕️Прыжки на скакалке - 1 минута
Все эти упражнение вы делаете друг за другом в течении 20 минут без какого-либо отдыха!
Вот и вся тренировка. Очень удобно , что её можно делать дома или на улице , и не требуется никаких тренажёров!)

BB squats 4x8 - 4sec negatives/ superset with leg press 4x8 w/ 4 sec negatives 💪🏼👍🏻! Did this one last week but changed things up with Time Under Tension adding in the negatives. Highest weight I’ve used for a B.B squat shoulder width stance with 4 sec negatives (315lbs) .. current morning weight is 184lbs 😳🙏🏼. Strength is increasing / BF% slowly going down... but that’s not possible ? Mind over matter works every time 👌🏼. #legday@artemusdolgin@goldenaestheticsofficial

Upper traps: Research shows that the upper traps are heavily recruited during both, upright rows, specifically wide grip (Choi et al 2015) & deadlifts (Handa et al 2005), specifically during the top half of the deadlift (Carb et al 2014) suggesting the likes heavy rack pulls to be an effective exercise to overload the upper traps as they allow for increasing loads. This brings me onto the next point in that, trap muscle activity has shown to be greater with increasing loads (Beggs et al 2011) thus again supporting the use for HEAVY rack pulls (or deadlifts). Finally, Ekstrom et al (2003) confirmed both the shrug & prone reverse fly to elicit high amounts of upper trap activity.
Middle trap: Unlike the upper traps, the middle traps show greatest muscle activity during the bottom half of the deadlift (Escamilla et al 2002). Furthermore, horizontal rowing movements, specifically bent over rows, have shown to maximise middle trap muscle activity (Handa et al 2005).
Lower trap: The lower traps are most “easily” hit region of the traps having shown to be maximally recruited in both vertical & horizontal pulling movements such as pull-ups, pulldowns, seated rows etc. (Andersen et al 2014, Youdas et al 2010).
Practical implications: If you’re training back with several horizontal & vertical pulling exercises then a large proportion of your traps will be recruited HOWEVER in order to further develop the upper traps i.e. The part most people want to grow, the use of heavy rack pulls, upright rows & shrugs seem to be the best exercises to do so.
