Seeing this Tiger baby sleeping like a content kitten made my heart melt 😭💕 She had been rescued with three other Tigers who were being raised in a barn in Ohio to be illegaly farmed for their skin. She is one of the many animals at the Wild Animal Sanctuary who were rescued from abusive circumstances in captivity. 🐯
The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO is a 10,000 acre property that shelters over 100 animals who have been traumatized by cruel, abusive, or unsafe situations. This is not a zoo-- visitors observe the animals at a distance from 60 ft high platforms to not cause them stress through invading their personal space. Walking the 1.5 mile long platform and seeing the animals thriving in open area was a beautiful experience. 🐯
The Wild Animal Sanctuary is not funded by the government and relies completely on donations. They also need Volunteers to help them care for the animals and keep the place running! If assisting with the rehabilitation of abused wild animals is close to your heart, I highly suggest visiting this place to see how you can help their cause. 🐯🦁🐻💕

If you don’t already know, the federal budget was released only a few weeks ago, and through it, we can gain an insight on where Australia stands in terms of providing overseas aid to other nations with struggling economies.
Australia’s percentage of the Gross National Income (GNI) for this year’s foreign aid budget has increased from last year’s figures by 0.01%, yet still remains at a low 0.23% of GNI. This ranks extremely poorly in comparison to aid given by the UK and Sweden (0.7% of GNI). It is also important to note that Australia’s aid generosity has dropped significantly since 2015, and was originally 0.32% .
This year’s budget has taken a small step in the right direction, but is it enough?
Thanks to Dustin Wozniak of Cabela's, for inviting us to their heroes weekend in Edmonton...the many teams around spent time answering questions and we wish to thank all those that donated $380.90...k9s Hook, Sparks, Neechi, Chance, Lexi, Sixx, Flo, Toby and Snoopy were all there this weekend...Toby and Hook were just a little tired...lol
Our delicious carrot cupcakes topped with fluffy buttercream icing made especially for the 4th edition of our Eid bakesale for Palestine. This year, we were able to raise 2375$ that will help provide medical emergency aid in Gaza, Palestine.

The law was unanimously passed by the French Senate in 2015 and made it illegal to dispose of good quality food. Super markets must either compost it or donate it. The program has allowed food banks and charities to provide millions of meals to those in need. #france#food#charity
