Hey fam, just an FYI if you are de-linked as I am. How many of us took time to celebrate Africa Day Jana? I honestly never even knew it existed. .
Just went to check on our leading regional newspaper, (which I stopped reading) to see how this day was celebrated at home. .
Not shocked at all that the news they feed us is of no significance and definitely misleading. .
Anyway, take time to remember your path. Colonialism, apartheid and slavery was predestined for us to have a baseline to refer to when we rule victorious. .
With the scars we embody, we know that we cannot run the world with fear. We know it is a faulty system and the only options left to try is to embrace a loving approach.
Love yourself, love your sister, love your neighbor, love your planet, love, love, love. It's the only solution. It comes with humility. And as long as we don't humble ourselves we will continue negating important days like AFRICA DAY!
When I spoke recently to 7th & 8th grade classes, my response to a few of them after they shared their occupational goal was, “is it your dream or someone else’s”- see it’s easy to agree with a “good plan” but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s God’s plan. Take inventory & re-evaluate if you’re in alignment with purpose or someone else’s good opinion... This is YOUR life, and God has a specific plan for YOU.
It’s time to thrive✨
I hate people like this. Get over your jealousy bullshit & yourself. If you’re so worried about me, you need to dig deep & see what it is that’s bothering you so much within your own damn self. #checkyaself 💯💯💯
