More new toys!
I have such an annoying shape of feet that I don't often find good shoes. And when I find them I just HAVE TO take them with me.
Big thanks to the awesome girl at the @vertical.life.climbing and @lasportivagram store for pushing me towards these 💚 I love #arco 😁
Corrono come se avessero il fuoco sotto il sedere in cerca di qualcosa che non si trova.Si tratta fondamentalmente della paura di affrontare se stessi,si tratta fondamentalmente della paura di essere soli.
Invece a me fa paura la folla.
Found a great anchor point here. I'm ready for the belay bro!

I don’t know about you, but I find it kind of disrespectful when people call climbing “peak bagging”. It says to me that the journey to the summit (and back) is unimportant or even undesirable. Diminishing the whole experience to simply bagging the summit misses the whole point. The summit is only a tiny place in a huge world - it will not help you learn, grow, get stronger, discover yourself…
Climbing is so much more than reaching the top - its about the entire process and the journey to get there. Its about developing your skills and confidence to the point where you meet the mountain’s demands (and for some mountains that takes a lifetime or more). Its about being in nature, away from modern conveniences and distractions. Its about simplifying life to the basics - move, eat, sleep. Meditating, placing one foot in front of the other, breathing in and out. Feeling a clear mind and freedom of movement. This is what draws people to mountians, not the summit alone.
If you are a peak bagger fixated on the summit, slow down and listen, the mountains are speaking to you whether you are on the top or not.
Altro giorno sul Monte Bianco a quota 3500m. Prossimo obbiettivo "dente del gigante". Grazie ancora a #varta per il suo dispositivo segnaletico per le escursioni, comodo anche di giorno per situazioni più estreme ✌️ Another day on Mont Blanc at an altitude of 3500m. Next goal "tooth of the giant". Thanks again to #varta for its signaling device for excursions, comfortable even during the day for more extreme situations ✌️
A slightly different view of the near horizontal roof climb that is Cardboard Box, possibly some of the best moves I’ve done on the rock this year ☺️💪🏼 Supported by @dragonholds who produce the best training kit around! Use HARMAN15 for 15% off 🐲💪🏼
After a week of climbing out here in Colorado, it’s official: We never want to leave 😋 I’ve said this so many times before but the climbing community is amazing. We’ve bumped into / climbed with so many familiar faces since we’ve been out here and it’s really enriched the entire experience. This is our third summer in a row traveling from NC to the stunning CO alpine to pull down on rock grips and this was the first time we made it out to Lincoln Lake. WOW, what a place. While the hike out may be no joke, the boulders that live here are well worth the 25 mins spent gasping for air (my sea level lungs betray me at 12k feet of elevation) on the step ascent out. Many thanks to @everascending and @br1and for their support while I fine tuned my beta on Steep Grade, Sharp Curves. This is definitely a fun boulder when you stop thinking about your foot blowing and the cavern below 😅
