Today I am frustrated by the complications that auto-renewable subscriptions are to set up. They are a bear and I feel like I am back to square one on them again. I had everything functioning, or so I thought, but now I need to revisit my code and it always feels like learning it again for the first time with these bad boys. Whew. Wish me luck. 💥💥 #bpdev#bradleypickarddev#iosdeveloper

How to better understand problems you want to solve?⠀
Instead of looking for ideas how to create an amazing design of product or a feature, try to understand real problems and solve them.⠀
📊 Research in quantitative way:⠀
Nowadays, design is all about metrics. When you're measuring your design, you can understand if things you're doing are going well or not. Metrics represent your business goals, so from analyzing data you know if your design make more money to your company or not. When you want to improve something, look for pain points. Quantitative metrics can help you validate your decisions. Also it can help you make decisions which features you have to shut down and which you have to improve. From data, you can find out what customers do while using your product (it shows you where users struggle, which tasks they perform smoothly, when they end up their flows, etc.).⠀
👀 Research in qualitative way:⠀
Observe customers how they use product and try to learn about their problems as much as you can. You'll better understand their behaviours and you'll learn patterns how they perform common tasks (f.ex.: while observing mums when they're shopping you can learn about their shopping process, when they shop, how much stores they visit, what's their common budget, etc.). Qualitative research can be way how to better understand problems that you've discovered in metrics. You can find out that 40% users drops from 2nd step of your checkout flow, so you know that there is any problem. Then you can observe from 8 to 15 users to see common patterns and how they're performing tasks. You'll find out why users are leaving and it will be much easier for you to design and develop new solution. Then you can generate ideas with your team, create final design ship it to users and learn from feedback.

Amazing how drastically life can change once you separate yourself from toxic environments and people. Finally starting my program and a lucrative internship. Sometimes walking the path alone is the most efficient way to achieve the goal. When I die they can’t say they “made” me or that I quit. 🤙🏾 ===================================

When that project is done 2 days ahead of deadline 😍!! Time to dance it out shamelessly (but also once most people have left the office 😂). It’s all about celebrating the small wins.
