Recently, I’ve been adding half unsweetened coconut milk & half coconut milk vanilla creamer to my coffee ... ummm it’s sooo tasty!

Being summer doesn’t mean life gets slower it just means we don’t have 8 hours of school to keep the kids in one place!😂 So I am on the go again! Trying to decide health summer friendly snacks for us. If anyone could with that let me know.🤔
Some days, I'm the mama who has her kids home from our play date and down for naps in their own beds on time.
And most days, I'm this girl who gave them string cheese and pb&j in their car seats and then detoured to the only #SummerMoon with a drive-thru (which is not at all on the way home) when I saw that all three were on the brink of passing out.
Naps are naps and I'll take them when and wherever they happen.
I say this is a win.

I’ve been struggling with my patience lately and I finally realized what the culprit was. My littlest turned 1 and boy was it tough! I immediately thought “Now I guess I have to wean him from nursing and he SHOULD be sleeping all night!” 🤷🏼♀️ Well wouldn’t you know it if he’s wanted to nurse more than before and he hasn’t slept hardly at all. In fact I was up basically all night with him- I’m blaming teething! •••
The point of this is that because of the expectations I put on myself and him- that obviously I’m not meeting and him either- I have been frustrated and irritable. 🤦🏼♀️ ••••
Why do we do this to ourselves?! Why do we expect these tiny humans to change so quickly and the same for ourselves. 🙃 This morning as I was battling- yet again- being patient with them while so sleep deprived, I realized that I was being absolutely ridiculous about these “expectations”! There is no reason he has to be done nursing and I’m sure if I really pay attention I can figure out why he isn’t sleeping well! So no more being worried about silly expectations and time to focus back on what he needs and really what matters to us. •••••

ANYWAYS, in regards to this mornings workout. I was t i r e d. Like hella did not want to keep going. I sat there between each move and contemplated turning off my workout. I’m just tired today, but we went through the motions & got it done.

When I started this journey, I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to quit🚫-I was too tired to finish, life was too hard, I was to busy, etc... Here’s the crazy part-just when I would get to the brink of quitting, good things would happen. 💯 I would break that weight plateau, my business would grow, or a community member would see results.
It was those moments that made me realize that I will never quit my journey or the opportunity to help other women! 💕

Listen to your body and take care of it bc there are little people who are counting on us.
Day two of my new group left me sweaty and sore. I am seriously impressed by the amount of sweat pouring off me after 35 minutes of work. 😜 I quick got a shower and was out the door for a day at the zoo so was yet again thankful for a quick workout that actually pushed me and made me work. 😍

Here is a great tip for when you are in the grocery store and want to reach for that candy bar to reward yourself for making it out alive with your kids! 🤣😂 Grab fresh flowers instead. They are a lovely treat for yourself and you'll enjoy them longer - and they won't go to your hips 😉
So many emotions when I look back on my journey the past 6 months. Gaining the courage to take a leap of faith and do something to better myself and my family. There have been many anxious moments, many exhausting moments but more importantly many rewarding moments and many proud moments. We have the ability to look back and see how much has changed even on the days when it feels like we’ve gone back to square one.
I started sharing my journey to keep my self accountable to “me time” with my new crazy schedule with school, work and family. That evolved into growing my passion for helping others achieve balance through the good and the hard times. To help others have the courage to reach for their goals even when they seem big and crazy!
I used to be someone that would quiet those dreams, then I realized that the only thing standing in my way of doing something bigger was myself. My self doubts, my fears and my build up of dreams being impossible. GO FOR IT! It’s not an easy road but it’s well worth it! The woman on the left hated everything about herself. She wouldn’t let pictures be taken unless someone was hiding her. She was miserable and just didn’t know how she made it through each day. She was too busy focusing on her kids that she completely forgot that she is a person too.😔 .
The woman on the right though is still the same mom who will always put her kids first but she is happy. She loves everything about herself. She is strong and pushes herself everyday. This woman has found her tribe and made an amazing group of people who support her through everything. This woman is also able to deal with changes the right way. 😁
Just know that if you are the first or you have ever felt like this that your tribe is waiting for you just take that leap. We will be here every step easy and hard!😍

Afraid to wear a bikini. Feeling like I can’t be proud of myself even though I work my ass off with my workouts and nutrition. . 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️I’ve felt like this before, have you? . It’s tough to feel that way, and that’s why I get up and workout and eat 80/20👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻so I can feel proud of me, and feel comfortable in my skin. Today I rocked day 2 of my new workout program it was all about the bi’s and back and a killer ab workout at the end. .
No I’m not perfect, but that doesn’t mean that my hard work doesn’t matter. Same for you! Yes I still have skin that hangs over my leggings. Nope I don’t have the rock hard abs that I want….yet! 😉 .
But do you know what this body went through? You Mommas get it!! This body has created 2 babies! This body has had a c-section, and has a scar to remind me of how amazing birthing babies is. If it wasn’t for that scar I would have lost my baby girl. She wouldn’t be here with us if it wasn’t for that scar and an angel nurse that saved her life! So instead of feeling ashamed, I’m damn proud of this body! .
Whenever the Mommas I talk to question if they can stick to a workout for 30 days, or if they can stick with eating heathy I remind them of what their body went through. And if they could grow babies and birth them, then they can do anything!!! I mean right?! .
I get how it feels to feel like you have so far to go that you don’t even know where to start. How it is to feel so alone like no one else gets it and like no one supports you in wanting to get healthy, look better and feel better. I have been there. I have found a community of women that have helped me in the times I’ve needed it most. I have read books that have helped me change my mindset from feeling depressed and like I’m stuck to feeling like I’ve got this and I can do anything. .
If I can do it YOU can too!🙌🏻

I think one of the best things about my health journey is learning to put myself on the todo list. It can be hard to take care of yourself as a mom, but it's so important! .
I show up better for others, when I've shown up for myself. So whether that's taking 30 min to workout, or taking a bath, it's important to get some of that time everyday. .
Here lately, I've really been turning to the word in those times of stress and doubt, and letting the Lord lead me. Taking a quiet moment with some coffee and @emilyley helps to. .
Whatever that may be for you, stop feeling guilty that you are doing something for yourself. Stop pouring everything into others with out having any time or energy left for yourself!! We are called to serve, but we have to full our own cups as well!! ❤️

Day 2 of this program and my arms feel like they are going to fall off.😬 If you had told me that 30 minute workout would do this to my body I wouldn’t have believed you! Man we are only day two and I am already sore!😁 What are these 8 weeks going to look like?🤷♀️
Ok so I’m currently in London celebrating a friends special birthday.
Last night I tried this turmeric latte alternative. It also had cinnamon,cardamom, ginger ect.
I actually really enjoyed it-slightly curry slightly comforting.
Would I try it again?
I think I’ll stick to beans but a good back up plan!

DAY OFF... are made for extra cuddles, decluttering, planning the week and some me time ( and by ME TIME I mean 30 minutes) which consisted of taking a shower during the day, having a HOT coffee and trying these new @karinejoncas_cosmetiques body care collection which I totally recommend! What do you consider « me time »? ••• JOURNÉE DE CONGÉ... c’est pour des calins, de ménage, planifier la semaine à venir et du temps pour moi ( et par cela je veux dire pas plus de 30 minutes) ce qui consiste à prendre une douche dans la journée, apprécier un café chaud et découvrir la nouvelle game de soins du corps de @karinejoncas_cosmetiques dont j’ai vraiment aimé! Qu’est-ce que vous faites quand vous avez un peu de temps pour vous?!
Our kids have the coolest mom in the game. Also, we are still making drinks at the Step by Step greenhouse sale for another 10 minutes. #coffeemom

The face a woman who is 9 months pregnant and over it. No, I am not carrying more than one. Yes, I know, I’m “huge” and no, im not amused by you reminding me that I “look” like I am ready to pop. Thanks for your comments though ✌🏼
I’ve had a lot of ups, downs and in-betweens on my postpartum fitness journey. I’m also NOT someone to watch if you’re wanting a super strict diet. I love me some food. Like, all of the food. .
But in 9 months.. I’ve gone from being 9 months pregnant to confident with my body, and ready to rock a bikini 👙 on my trip next month. .
I don’t care where you are right now in terms of your health. Don’t compare my journey to yours, and i won’t either. I just want you to know it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. .
I don’t believe in perfect balance, but what works for me is eating clean 80% of the time, working out 6 days a week in my living room & giving myself some slack on weekends. Also because mama needs wine 🍷😁.
I kick off a new ‘virtual boot camp’ next Monday. Open to any ladies, moms or not, who are ready to find their own sense of balance — but also know you’ll have to put in the work 😉.
