NAMES TO KNOW IN THE 2019 DRAFT CLASS:
Here are 3 prospects who you need to know going into the season. They aren't being talked about enough, but have the talent to be an early draft pick next year
Tyree Jackson, QB - Jackson has the size to make you take notice for a QB at 6'7", 245lbs. However, he's far more than just a big body. He has exceptional arm talent and can throw the ball 60 yards downfield with ease. Throws one of the most impressive deep balls in college football and can make 'wow' throws consistently. Accurate on the move and outside the pocket. Dynamic runner who has size and speed to be a threat in the QB run game. Shows some refinement in using eyes to manipulate defense. Has some issues with his base when throwing and doesn't always follow through with his throws. Placement can be inconsistent
David Montgomery, RB - If you haven't seen my video on this guy, be sure to check it out. Explosive playmaker in space with rare lateral quickness. Jump cuts defenders out of their skin and can create for himself when the blocking isn't there. Decent in pass pro and capable check down receiver. Impressive contact balance and leg drive to break tackles for someone with his wiggle. Vision is a little off, indecisive when primary lane isn't there and misses secondary lanes and cutbacks
Mark Gilbert, CB - Darrelle Revis' cousin, Gilbert is an outstanding player in his own right. Impressive ball production last year, 6 INTs & 15 PDs. Instinctive corner who manages to stay in phase in man coverage and anticipates receivers coming out of their breaks. Does a good job locating the ball and playing the ball not man. Times breaks well and uses length to dislodge the ball at the catch point. Physical hitter with desired ball skills for the position

The stellar passing game of last year should be every bit as amazing. The Flames get back QB Stephen Calvert, who threw for 3,363 yards and 29 scores along with all of the top targets. Antonio Gandy-Golden leads a loaded receiving corps for a quick-hitting passing game that’s big on tempo, and is terrific at keeping the chains moving.
– The running game isn’t just along for the ride, but the passing attack controls the offense. It’ll be up to 5-8, 200-pound Frankie Hickson to lead the rotation after running for 375 yards and two scores.
In this offense, it’s about quickness, and it’s about backs who can catch – a few of the younger options will be in the mix right away.
– The line that did a solid job in pass protection returns most of the key parts. It was a young line with three underclassmen starting, and now four starters are back around 6-1, 310-pound Dontae Duff. There’s not a whole ton of bulk up front – outside of the bowling ball, Duff – but with all the backups returning along with the experience, this should be a solid line.
The Biggest Key To The Liberty Offense is that there needs to be a bit more pop to the ground game. Again, the passing attack will do most of the heavy lifting, but the Flames have to find a bit more for a ground game that was okay – averaging four yards per carry – but didn’t exactly balance out the attack. Do you think Stephen Calvert can beat his career mark of 3,363 yards in a season? #libertyuniversity#libertyflames#college#collegefootball#alabama#espn#calvert#flames@libertyflames
“If you ask me how I want to be remembered, it is as a winner. You know what a winner is? A winner is somebody who has given his best effort, who has tried the hardest they possibly can, who has utilized every ounce of energy and strength within them to accomplish something. It doesn't mean that they accomplished it or failed, it means that they've given it their best. That's a winner.” - Walter Payton
