Pawel Althamer’s “Camp-fire” along with Giacometti and Brancusi in MMOMA. Actually , we were going to see Wes Anderson tonight, but we were late and they only had one ticket left, so we ended up in MMOMA with lovely Anna as our mediator, spent a real good time there and even watched Weerasethakul’s “Haunted Houses Project: Thailand”. #contemporaryart#mmoma#einzelneportrait#gicometti#brancusi#althamer

Here they are, my beauties! I absolutely L❤VE these @wraptious cushions with my artwork on!!! The vegan suede feels so nice and soft and the cushions are nice and full, plus they smell lovely! I'm really happy with how the colours came out as well, especially my favourite combination of turquoise, purple and magenta 😍 I really am happy to the max!
What do you think of these cushions? For everyone who agrees that those beauties are simply devine and should be available everywhere, please take a moment to vote for my entry on Facebook (each like and share counts). Here is the link (also in my profile) and you have until the 5th of June to show my cushions some love (liking and sharing)!
And of course a hugh thank you to all the amazing people who have bought a cushion so far. It's such a great idea!
Magical moments captured by @kevinthomphoto on #soulartday .
Before heading to Canada, @laurahollicksoulartstudio warned us that even though we’d be in the studio for almost 12 hours, the day would go by in a flash.
She was so right.
It was like entering a vivid world of soul exploration, color, creating, loving, laughing, deliciousness, sisterhood (+ one special brother) and big, big expansion where time was left at the door.
In reflection, I’m in awe of just how powerful the day was and how, by using art and the creative process, we really do have the ability to create big shifts within ourself and the world around us.
Something I have know but feel like I have met at an even deeper layer after this experience.
Infinite gratitude for everyone who was present and who made the day as special as it was: @laurahollicksoulartstudio@kevinthomphoto@firstname.lastname@example.org and Q’orianka. (and shoutout to @lotuswei for the flower magic that I am now officially hooked on). 💗
Swipe to catch a glimpse of us creating and connecting throughout the day.
Im back home in central Ontario for the summer - though miss my home and friends on Canada's East Coast! Where's home for you? 🏠🏠 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I took a lot more time detailing these rocks and walls, and glad I did!
FInally finished this piece. Oil on canvas. This is more than just a painting for me. By this drawing I wanted to show the essence of some people - artificially painted on the outside and completely empty inside, like vases painted in Gzhel. Gzhel is a Russian style of ceramics, they always come in small numbers, which often cannot meet the demand. Even in Russia not many people have Gzhel ware. But in my childhood my grandma had a collection of such vases at the country house and I was very happy of viewing them. This painting also dedicated to my grandmother, because she was so fond of painting them. I was happy to watch the process, but did not really appreciate it because I thought it was useless to anyone. Remember one thing guys: thousands of candles can catch fire from one candle, and her life from this will not be shorter. Happiness will never be less if you share it with another. Please do not hesitate to say nice things to people and believe in that they're doing, otherwise tomorrow it may be too late.
Sometimes I sculpt mammals. 😊🐻
What wild animal would you want me to sculpt next?
Pink Peek, mixed media sculpture, 2017
This one is going to be exhibited at @thoughtfoundation with some other of my artworks.
