Nothing screams summer like a black ale....well, maybe not usually but in this case I’ll make an exception. An amazing brew from 555 Brewing, I wish I had picked up more Long Black. Oh well, time to plan a return trip!
Been gone for the past 24 hours with no cell service and good company canoeing and exploring the lakes of AP. We found one of the most beautiful campsites on an island in the middle of the lake with some of the best swimming and cliff jumping the area has to offer. There’s a current fire-ban for a large part of Ontario, as we’ve been dealing with an insane heat wave. Although no campfire was allowed, that doesn’t really phase me. It’s incredibly important to follow and respect the rules and regulations of the area you’re camping in, for nature’s sake. I’d do anything to protect her. It was nice to hit the hay early, and let the sounds of the loons push us further into slumber.
☕️I don't believe in growing up because people always make you feel like becoming "an adult" is synonymous with BORING. Well, I believe in being a responsible big kid - adventurous, curious, and creative. Today is Ice Cream Day🍦 so I made myself an "adult" ice cream - an affogato with my new Breville Espresso Machine. Adulting has never tasted sweeter. 🙂 Also, what does everyone think of my first “advanced selfie?” .
