Every wonder why I love estate wedding so much?! YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT! This particular bride thought arches were weird and never understood why people got married under them. We found the perfect setting in her family home and she was not stuck using the "ceremony" location that a venues always uses.
Did you know we do backyard consultations. These allow me to come to your home and to tell you if I feel that it could host your wedding. Did I mention they are FREE!!!
Tell me what your doing differently at your wedding!
Recently someone reminded me of a tradition that has been in her family for many generations and one she though I'd like to share. We have all heard the saying 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue' but she reminded me of the ending 'and a sixpence in her shoe.' The tradition of the bride wearing a sixpence in her left shoe dates back to the 17th century and formed part of the dowery gift to the groom. It was used to bless the marriage with wealth prosperity and happiness. Why not start a new family tradition, save the coin and pass it onto your children on their special day.
