Are you living life to your fullest potential? Do you feel that you’re doing everything you should be doing to live a happy life, or are you simply going through the motions of your daily grind? It’s not everyday you get to drive two and a half hours to Estevan, SK from Minot, ND to go to the bank and turn around and go back. Good thing Estevan is on my travel bucket list or it would have been a waste. Good times. #roadtrip#estevan#whatnext

Need a summer dessert idea? How about our version of a Bumbleberry Pie? It's delicious, easy and you will wow your friends and family.
You need a 9" pie crust (I always cheat and buy a premade one from the frozen food section). 2 cups sliced strawberries
2 cups blueberries
2 cups SASKATOONS (shouting because they are awesome). You can also use raspberries or blackberries.
3/4 cup white sugar
3 tbsp Minit Tapioca (this ensures your pie isn't a juicy soup)
For the topping:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 425F. In a large bowl, gently mix together the fruit, sugar and tapioca. In another bowl, blend the oats, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until it looks like crumbs.
Pour the fruit in the pie shell and evenly spread the crumbs on top. Pop in the oven for 15 min at 425F and then reduce the heat to 350F for 45 min. When done, the pastry should be golden and the fruit bubbling.
Serve warm or cold and it's delicious with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
Enjoy! This pie tastes like summertime in #Saskatchewan.

I didn’t necessarily dislike the person I was twenty years ago, but I know that who I am today is completely different. In fact, my experiences over the past eight and a half years, in particular, have shaped me into a new and improved version of myself. I work every single day on developing myself because, though I have grown to love the person I am today, I KNOW that I still have more to offer the world. So, I will continue this journey of self-discovery and be grateful for all the experiences, opportunities, and disappointments along the way because I know that these are all part of my life’s blueprint.
Our thanks to Lucinda Wyatt Milford who allowed us to share pictures of the damage the hail did to her home south of Estevan, Sask., Thursday evening.
Environment Canada received reports of golf to tennis ball sized hail in the area around 4 p.m. CST.
A storm chaser just east of Estevan measured a wind gust of 151 km/h.
