I still remember this day... I spent the morning feeling down about myself. I had recently finished working another 9-5 job, though I had promised myself that I never would again. I yearned for this time to travel, to be free, and to figure out what I truly wanted in life. Yet here I was in this beautiful place - worrying about my future, angry that I hadn't "figured it out" yet, and questioning why I was spending so much money travelling.
I had held on to Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now" book for nearly 4 years, unable to get through the first few pages. This trip was when I finally began to read it and it all made so much sense - I was ready for the messages it contained.
When the sun came out later that morning I felt a shift in my mood - I decided that there was no place I would rather be than right here, right now. I could spend the day feeling bad and wishing this time away, or I could dive into the brilliant blue water and enjoy the moment while it lasted. I am so glad that I chose to dive in.
The closer you get the more you realize how much is actually going on in these pieces, which I think is one of the aspects that makes Chihuly’s work unique — that it can be appreciated both from a distance as well as up close.

Who’s down for some beach hoops?
One of the great things we discovered about the Philippine’s nation is their love for basketball. There are hoops and courts everywhere you go, even in the smallest villages you’ll be sure to find a place to play. This is a great example of how sports can unify a country.
Wishing all nations participating the best of luck in the World Cup 🙌🏼
Ciao from the land of carbs and espresso. This aragostina (because it’s shaped like a lobster tail) is a pasticceria marvel. The lightest, flakiest, crunchiest little pastry filled with cream of just the right amount of sweetness paired with a classic espresso is...☺️.

“ Walk towards the good in life and one day you will arrive.”
In January, I crossed over the quarter century mark and I’ve thinking a lot about the most important thing I’ve learned so far in my twenties. Here’s my personal top 4 things I’ve learned :
1️⃣ Being alone doesn’t mean you are weak. It actually shows your strength.
2️⃣ Friends will come and go. The ones who fight for you are worth fighting for.
3️⃣ You don’t NEED a man/woman to be happy.
4️⃣ Time is precious. No amount of time will ever be enough so enjoy ever second of being alive.
For all of you reading, no matter your age, what’s been one big lesson life has taught you?

I had a wonderful time relaxing in tropical Queensland last week. As much as I often advocate my love affair for the mountains and snow, it is nice to escape the colder winter months for a little sun and warmth every now and again. Milla Milla waterfall is unquestionably one of my favourite waterfalls in Australia. There’s a beautifully lush and fun feel about this watering hole surrounded by palm trees and tucked away safely from the crocs.
Despite the warm feels, swimming out into the middle at 8am was a little brisk but a perfect way to start the day. 🚁: DJI Phantom 4 Pro + Tiffen Polariser
