#MotivationalMonday The lady in the first pic is the only lady I’m competing against!!! Staying in my lane & doing what works for me has allowed me to get to pic #2 SLIDE 👈🏾 Get you know what works for you & not jump on & off the next hot thing on the market! When you find what works for you stick to it!! You all pretty much know my regimen bc it took a bunch of trial & error to get to it but when I did I stuck with it!!! It’s always YOU vs YOU!! Remember that!! 😉😘
My top 4 favourite exercises to help get the booty gains! 🍑🍑🍑 Barbell squats 10 reps ✅
Jump squats 10 reps ✅
Hip thrusts 12 reps✅
Hip abductions with band 12 reps✅
I done 5 sets of barbell squats into jump squats.

Fit these into your leg workouts for the booty gains 🙌🏻😍👏🏻🔥
Life update: I’ve been in the process of moving so I havnt been posting and I also havnt been to the gym. I think moving is more tiring and stressful than prepping for a competition 😬
I’m living out of box’s for the moment. I’m exhausted and I have bags under my eyes to prove it 😏
I also havnt been eating great or drinking enough water. I went to breakfast yesterday (my stoves not working yet) and I was chatting with the owner who also knows psychology and he said that moving ranked 3rd for stressful situations! 3rd! So if your dealing with a move I totally know how your feeling just stay positive and remember it’s only temporary 💖
Finally going to get a workout in with my fav preworkout @bpi_sports one more rep 💪🏼 .
For as long as I’ve known myself, I HATE sleeves. They bother me. My favorite non-sleeved style of shirt is a muscle tank. So flowy, higher neck line, open and breezy 👌🏽 perfection. Unfortunately, I also hate spending money 🤦🏻♀️ I was going through my drawers and closets to get rid of stuff before we move and I found an ENTIRE drawer of race shirts from when I was a runner...I never wear them (because sleeves) but I never get rid of them (because memories)...brilliant idea...cut.them.off. Now I have all the muscle tanks! Yay!!!
How to survive Mondays:
1. Workout while in zombie mode, so your body doesn't know what's going on.😵
2. Shower and throw your face on, you probably look exhausted 😬
3. Eat a 🍌and drink Chocolate Recovery
4. Coffee, coffee, coffee☕️☕️☕️
5. Go to work and pretend you're drinking the coffee on a mountaintop.
Day 21/80 Total Body Core✅🙌🏻
*Warning- long post ahead.* You are STRONG ENOUGH. This was the theme of the hiking trip I was on all last week. We took 185 teenagers on a 26 mile trip up and over mountains, pushing handcarts and dressed like pioneers to teach them about Utah’s pioneer heritage and to give them a very small taste of what our ancestors went through to settle the western states. If you think that sounds hard, try doing it all in a dress!😆 Yes, I know that sounds strange. But before you think I’m totally weird, hear me out- It was hard, dusty, dirty, and mentally challenging. But guess what? THEY ALL SURVIVED. They all gained confidence in their abilities- mentally and physically, and they learned that they are strong enough to complete things they set out to do. At the end of the week, we asked them if at any time they conquered something that they thought they couldn’t do. And almost all of them said yes.
How often do we do this to ourselves?? We tell ourselves that we CAN’T do something because the task at hand seems daunting. What if we changed our mental dialogue from “I can’t” to “I can, I just haven’t YET.” What if we encouraged ourselves the way we encourage others? What if we looked at the the things we think we can’t do as challenges to overcome instead of insurmountable obstacles? How much stronger would we be?? Last week I saw unsure, nervous teenagers transform into mental and physical giants as they realized that with a little mental grit they could accomplish what they set out to conquer. Let’s change “IMPOSSIBLE” to “I’M POSSIBLE”
Happy Monday everyone. Let’s be great this week. You are strong enough to accomplish anything you want badly enough. **If you want a taste of what my week was like, swipe to see a couple pictures from our journey.
