Post 4 Essential oils & Fitness Lunchtime Series: Essential Oils for Uplifting, Energising, Invigorating & Motivating
Sometimes it can be difficult to feel alert and motivated enough to work out, especially if you are exercising every day or trying to stick to a strict workout schedule.
Essential oils with uplifting properties can help you feel energized and motivated before and during your workout.
You can apply essential oils with uplifting or invigorating qualities through topical application, or apply a small amount of oil to your clothing so the aroma remains with you while you exercise.
You can also help promote energizing or motivating feelings by diffusing uplifting essential oils before working out or during your workout if you are exercising indoors.
Essential oils like the below, have uplifting properties and can help promote energy, motivation, and vitality for your workout: - Bergamot;
- Lemon; - Spearmint; - Tangerine; and - doTERRA’s proprietary Blend: Motivation.
I personally enjoy Peppermint for that energising zing when needed during exercising.

A little over 3 years ago, she stumbled upon my site and sent me a lovely message sharing her heart to help people get fit while staying home with her little boys.
Her request to join my team ended with “Katy, never in a lifetime would I have imagined considering an online business...but here I am!” And I’m so glad she did, too!
Trish is a savvy business partner and has become a very dear friend to me 💜

Low carb meal of the day.
Burger salads are my favorite!
On the FASTer way we don’t eat low carb everyday. I fact we know that carbs are essential. It’s all about choosing the right carbs. But today is a low carb day and it’s done a few times per week and combined with the best workouts for maximum fat burning!!🔥🔥
Eating this way has been a game changer for me. Adding good fats to my protein makes for a very satisfying meal. I used to love the carbs (rice, pasta and breads) cause I feared if I didn’t have them I would starve. My way of thinking was way off. Protein and fats are what are satisfying and are slowly digested to keep you fuller longer. The refined carbs did in fact make me feel like I was Starving cause I was digesting it quickly causing that blood sugar irregularity and cravings.
Lead with protein first then add your carbs that are nutrient dense 🍠🥦🥕and finally add in those good fats 🥑

8 months ago I took a chance on becoming vulnerable and setting my sights high on helping other mommas start to feel and gain back that confidence that They once had but lost after all the mom tasks took over! .
I remember after I had my second baby feeling lost, completely insecure and was missing that positive vibe that I needed in my every day life ! .
As new moms we all know that each day is such a blessing but we also can get so caught up in all our mom duties that we will let everything we used to do for ourselves be the very last thing we would tackle in a day meaning most days that wouldn’t happen! .
I wanted to feel myself again , I wanted to want to go out and not wish that someone hadn’t invited me over to have to try on several outfits to feel good in none. .
Deciding to commit to 30 min a day for me was the best decision I ever made - and second to that deciding to take what I had learned from those 30 min a day workouts and sharing that with other mommas so they can feel how I feel has been life changing! .
Today I have such an amazing strong group of mommas supporting eachother that I feel truly blessed that this is what I am doing to help my family become debt free !! .
Who would have thought that getting paid to workout , drink amazing shakes, meet some amazing new best friends and feel more confident in myself then I have in a long time is paying our bills !! .

My planned 1 hour workout only took me 2 and a half hours to get done 😆 I swear she knows when I’m really starting to get in my groove and decides that’s when she wants to wake up, be real fussy, or eat! Today it was 30 minutes on the treadmill, then 30 minutes of arms/shoulders 💪🏼
I don’t have the luxury of childcare at a gym, nor do I want to pay for it. Luckily, I’m able to hit pause on my streaming workout videos, go at my own pace, and still bond with my baby girl! 💕

With counting macros hitting your protein is key! Egg whites, lean ground turkey and fish are my go-tos- but they can get old very quickly. That's when I gotta change things up and I tried out these @premierprotein drinks and ya'll they taste SO good! And they're only 90 calories per bottle with 20 grams of protein in each! Um hi these are my new faves! I've been bringing them to the gym each morning and sip on them throughout my workout. When I was pregnant with Eloise I felt nervous that after she was born, Spencer would love somebody more then me. As selfish as it was, I didn’t know if I was ready to share his love with anyone else, even our baby (ugh pregnancy hormones🙄). Looking back I can’t believe I ever felt that way, because the way he loves our daughter makes me love him more every day. (And yes, there’s still enough love leftover for me.😜) He’s the best daddy I could have ever given my daughter and there aren’t enough words for how blessed I am to have him as my life and parenting partner. Happy first Father’s Day @spencerbentley_creates. ❤️😘
