I've been such a miserable sod this holiday constantly complaining about my body and comparing myself to everyone else.
But today we went to the beach and it was the first day where my only bikini concern was keeping my top up 😂 I went on an inflatable obstacle course, jet ski, water sofa and pedallo and had the BEST day just laughing and not having a care in the world.
This time of year we put so much pressure on ourselves with fad diets and whatever quick fix we can get to achieve the perfect bikini body when really we just need to focus on feeling comfortable and confident and maintaining a healthy balance. I've massively lost sight of that this year thinking I'd failed cause I'm not as toned or don't have abs on show like last year when at the end of the day who really cares as long as I'm enjoying the holiday.
Just do what makes you happy ladies 💕

It may not be “picture worthy” to all the bloggers and staged photo gurus, but THIS is real life! Yes it’s a post workout #sweatyselfie because today was damn hard! I wasn’t “feeling” my workout this morning. 🤷♀️ Now lets talk about what you should do on those days....Do you push through or use that as a rest day? Good question! 1️⃣ If you are extremely fatigued from a workout the day before and sore, you need to use that day to stretch and breath deep...yoga, PiYo or something similar is great 2️⃣ If you are lacking sleep and feel overall lethargic (not fatigued, but beyond fatigue), it’s best to sleep in and rest. 3️⃣ Then some days, we are just lazy 🙋🏼♀️ That was me today! If you aren’t feeling it or just “don’t wanna”, well my friend, it’s time to push on through! It may not be the best workout in the world, but those are the days you EARN your #selfie 😉💪🏼 When I’m not feeling my workout, I will often start with core work, then ease in to some type of movement. ▫️1 scoop @questnutrition vanilla protein powder
▫️1 cup ice cubes
▫️1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
▫️2 tablespoons @intheraw stevia
▫️1 teaspoon butter extract
▫️1 teaspoon rainbow sprinkles
👉🏻BLEND everything together (except the rainbow sprinkles) until smooth and creamy. If you want to add the rainbow sprinkles, just gradually stir them in after the shake has been blended or spread them on top. ENJOY 🎉

So I didn’t have a moment to do my workout yesterday. I’ve been doing so many things around the house; removing bricks, unpacking some boxes and moving things into the attic (which is a massive bitch to do) and so much more. I also have so much work I need to do in this next few weeks. At first I was beating myself up about it, thinking I was just failing at restarting BBG. At one point I kept thinking to myself am I making excuses because 60 push ups sounds like death? The thing is I want to make BBG workouts a habit again but I also want to balance it with life ya know. I’m not going to be able to do the 3 BBG workouts every week. My goal is to eat better (I’ve had fish twice this week which is amazing in itself) and move more. I don’t know about you but I’m counting as removing bricks and painting above my head for an entire day as an arm workout.
