It’s Summa Time and that means vacay!
When those Popeyes chicken strips and biscuits are calling your name but you’re trying to be good....here some helpful tips for tracking while traveling!
Bring YO own snack! I love a snack pack! Who doesn’t? I fill mine with enlightened broad beans, coco light (my kids are obsessed), beef jerky, string cheese and cut up veggies. They keep me full and not Hangry!
Health Food Kiosks
I’m in an airport a 1/2 dozen times a year. I’ve seen an increase in health food kiosks. Yay! They offer hard boiled eggs, hummus and veggies and Greek yogurt! I’d ask the information desk when you get there or google the airport the night before. Generally there’s info on line!
Pick a Chain where you know the Name!
Many chains have restaurants in airports. That way you can check nutrition info online! My kids are obsessed with Chili’s. I know they have a great “Lighter Choice” menu and we tend to eat there at airports.

5 years ago I was so scared to take action. My biggest fear gremlin was that I would wake up 5, 10, 15 years down the road exactly where I was that day, and wishing I had changed things a long time ago.
I was ready to quit feeling tired, uncomfortable in my clothes and making excuses why I wasn’t happy. I decided that was the day everything changed.
Don’t let that fear paralyze you, let it fuel your fire and move your booty. The only difference between you and where you want to be is... action. Consistent messy action.
So just start ⚡️ Start today. Just small baby steps.

Currently heading back to Ohio though and I won’t be back to Austin in the near future. I am truly going to miss it.

When traveling it can sometimes be challenging to go on with your same routine of fitness and food. However, it is all about finding what activities and gyms are available on the city your are visiting.
Here in #Amsterdam biking or taking a biking tour is easily accessible and fun.
I also like to walk around sightseeing the city. It helps me to stay active, enjoying the city views and enjoy the great atmosphere, lastly I think I connect more with the local culture.
Things look ok differently when you look at them differently. 😎The first angle is my best angle - my core looks super tight!
😆 The second is straight up dorky. 🧐 The third is okay, but you can see more of the looseness and fat in my belly.
So, all though I am in better shape, visually I will look different or better from doing different angles. .
Someone asked me: “is the this a real job?" & I was all: Why? Because it looks really FUN?! 😂..
Yo nerds- I have been:
A dog sitter/walker
A clinic coordinator
and a list of odd side jobs..
& All of that meant ALWAYS being on someone else's schedule. ALWAYS dreading going into work. ALWAYS working SUPER hard for little reward 🤦🏽♀️ NEVER feeling freedom. NEVER feeling purpose. NEVER getting recognized like I do now. NEVER getting REWARDED correctly for how hard I work 🙇🏽♀️.. -

#throwinitback to a 2015 bathroom selfie ... this most recent trip to Florida had me going through old photos and reminiscing about my past summers in Florida. It’s funny what I remember most about my training and nutrition during the 8 weeks I was working in South Florida that summer....I did barre workouts 2x/week, hot yoga once and resistance trained twice. Only cardio was beach walks once or twice a week. Nutrition, I ate a giant Whole Foods Salad from the salad bar every single night. Every single night. My body likes them, as does my soul 😊 I would find the biggest container available and cram as much as I could in. I think it was always at least 2 lbs. I just ate one before flying home - for old times sake. And because it’s what I always always crave when I come here 🥗🥗🥗

Little did I know choosing to live at 166 Central in #Fredonia over 10 years ago would forever change the course of my life
I bonded with my upstairs neighbor over 10 cent drafts on the Sunny’s dance floor for two semesters -
As we graduated and moved on to the next stages of our lives which included a marriage, two kids, three houses, full time jobs, and a move across the country - we lost touch as some friendships do with time and distance.
One late night decision of aimless FB scrolling reconnected me to Casi in December of 2015 and changed who I am today.
Then I made another one in February of 2016.
Three years later - and a whirlwind of trips, experiences, and endless laughs and memories - we are celebrating another year of building successful businesses, transforming our lives and those we are blessed to work with, and leading with heart and health 💗
There are people who walk into your life with purpose - and @casidepew is one of the most influential women in my life and I couldn’t be more thankful for signing a lease with a shady landlord a decade ago because it lead to this beautiful life.
