PSA balayage is a technique but to our clients is a “look”. She was previously balayaged by another stylist and was left with brassy unwanted tones. (She’s a NL-5) our first blonding session consisted of a heavy partial foil (20v & phbonder) + smudged root (6n, 6gn, 5n) + toned (9b, 9t, 9v, 9p) ✨
Cool For The Summer
You guys know that I always have every intention of posting a before and after for you guys, so you can see the transformations. However, I end up getting so excited that I always start before remembering to take the before!!! 🤦🏼♀️ Soooooo annoying!! Anyways, this girl reminded me and I was so happy that you guys actually get to see the before!! She wanted to go cool for the summer 😎...
Do you guys want to see more before and after or is posting just the after picture fine??
Very heavy teased balayage, she is a level 5 and lift to a level 9/10 super easy!
I used @goldwellus Silk Lift, starting with 20 vol in the back and working my way to 30 vol towards top and sides.
Toned with @redken Shades Eq 9N
COLOR CORRECTION! Breaking up stripy highlights with ALL the Babylights + Lowlights + Ombré + Color Melting!! Don’t you love it when your blonde clients just want to be “Blonder!”? And you’re like thinking ‘How much blonder can you be? Your hair’s going to break off’ 😫 Besides the detail in the technique (& utilizating my new Babylight board) the game changer for me recently has been switching to a Lipid (Oil) based lighter from a traditional powder based lightener. My fav is @oligoprousa Creme that is super violet / cool toned and comes in a jar (not a paid ad, genuinely love this product) mixed with their smart bond developers. I am able to get those last levels of lift from levels 8-9 to 10 without breakage!
This was my #Paintinablanket demonstration model from my class in North Carolina at @blissdowntown The transformation was pulled together with a razor long bob haircut. How are you making your blondes more modern? #ashleenormaneducates#ColorCorrection#oligopro#oligoblacklight#foilayage#foilage#behindthechair#hair_videos#modernsalon#livedinblonde
“My favorite way to use the @framar Power Painter is actually to do my highlights!😉 It catches so much product & covers a lot of ground so it helps me work 10x faster👌” - @debvargashair •
How do you use the Power Painter!?🤔
