The Misty Mountain Hike |
What do you remember about that morning? I asked Daniel. " The misty mountain hike... I really do love misty hikes though. That’s what I remember from it. And washing my hair in the creek...Leaves covered the trail." - D
I love memories. They're these soft moments that last for years, always a part of us, a time that's no longer here, but we're able to jump back in and it's almost like you're there again. Our mountain hike was covered in a soft rain, it felt like a warm fall morning, leaves covered the trail and the creek was full with running water.
Daniel was like Tarzan, and did wash his hair in the creek- photo #2 is after the push-up into the creek for that "morning -fresh look." Thanks for the memories Daniel.

Si no la has visitado, añádela a tu próximo Eurotrip.
I always seem to appreciate moments in retrospect. Which is kind of sad when you think about it. To not appreciate the beauty of a moment until that moment has past. This is something I’ve been working on a lot these past years. Noticing the beauty of today instead of longing for the beauty of yesterday. Like this flashback to a trip we took in the porcupine mountains. It rained like crazy. Our legs were sore. And we actually called it quits halfway through the long weekend. But I stumbled across these pictures the other day and was blown away!!! So appreciate what is right in front of you. Not what you left behind or what someone else is showcasing. You have your own really special life happening right now! #liveinthemoment#notinretrospect

Cliffs of Moher in Ireland 🇮🇪. One of the most beautiful landscapes we have ever seen!
We took the @paddywagontours from Dublin. 40€ per person. All day tour. Totally worth it! You get to stop at other places on your way out to the west coast of Ireland. The tour guide is really informative on the history of the country as well.

I have spent more time on the road this year than ever before. Even though there are moments where I wish I could just teleport the last 400 miles there are so many more moments that strike that special chord in my heart and leave me in aw. There are the sunsets that left me in tears of gratitude... The changing landscapes that fill me with inspiration. I love it all- The monotony and the magic. Any other road trip lovers out there? #vanlife#dreamliferevolution
