I moved here to put the pieces of my soul back together. After so many years of being lost, feeling absent and not myself, I lost so much of what I used to be, for so many reasons. There wasn’t just one thing that took from me, there was so many little things that took just a tiny part of me, until I felt like there was barely anything left. Just a few scattered pieces that just as easily could have been blown away by the wind. I knew I needed more, needed to be myself, needed to find myself and start over.. This place heals me, that’s why I was drawn to be here despite how hard the move was. I feel a peace I haven’t felt since I was very young. A happiness that has been gone for so long is finally creeping back into my smile. Not all the days are good days still but here I am, trying to make myself whole again in one of the most beautiful places in the world. This place gives me life. I’m lucky for my friends and my family who have supported me through this. I finally am starting to feel like the person you love again. Almost.
The El Chalten range is notorious for fickle weather but, little did I know how changeable it could be till I hiked up there. A week of going into the mountains and we never really caught a break. The clouds did make for some dramatic skies though. #Andes#Patagonia#mountains#Glacier#lake#clouds#snow#sunrise
We woke up at 4am to drive out and see Moraine Lake. It's still mostly frozen, so we weren't able to see the beautiful terquiose water in all its glory. But on our way out it started drizziling and we caught a double rainbow! 🤗
One of the best things about cruising to the Antarctic Peninsula is the zodiac rides, which allow you to get up close and personal with spectacular ice bergs like this. What does this remind you of?

While cruising along the edge of the sea ice far in the east of Svalbard, we came across a dead beluga whale that seemed to have been trapped by the ice. A dozen birds were already getting busy trying to get a meal, including 4 beautiful ivory gulls. It was the first time I ever saw this bird but I recognised it immediately: the ivory gull has an unmistakable pure white plumage and is a truly magnificent sight in the high Arctic. I’m really enjoying this take over and the reactions so far ☺️ Check out my feed @rezphotography for more!

The mountains of Peru are one of the most beautiful things I have seen and this trek takes you straight through the heart of the Cordillera Blanca.
