Nipah Virus (NiV) was first identified in 1999 during an outbreak of encephalitis and respiratory illness among pig farmers and people with close contact with pigs. It is an emerging zoonosis that causes severe disease in both animals and humans. It also occurs as a result of consuming date palm sap that has been contaminated by infected fruit bats, as per WHO.
As far as symptoms go, the Nipah virus infection has symptoms like breathing trouble, fever, headache, drowsiness and disorientation. An infected person can slip into coma within 48 hours.

Chances are you won't put the phone down or hold it up to your face with your back straight so here's a few good stretches.
👇👇👇👇👇👇 Stretches to Keep the Neck Healthy
Simple neck and shoulder stretches are also important to improve blood flow and relieve tension, for example:
Tuck the chin down toward the neck, then slowly raise it up toward the ceiling.
Rotate the head so that it is looking out over one shoulder, then turn slowly and rotate in the other direction.
Rotate the shoulders in a clockwise direction while holding the arms down by the sides of the body; repeat in a counter clockwise direction.
💊 Pain is a complex subject. Ultimately, pain is very important and it is a SIGNAL that our body is giving us. Pain is neither good nor bad, but should be dealt with through CHANGE
💊 The pain signal is a call for change. It helps direct us towards this change. It is an unpleasant sensation/signal, so most people instinctually assign a negative connotation to it and try to avoid it at all costs. Pain is inevitable however, and it is the way we deal with it that matters most.
💊The important part is to rise above it and figure out what the pain is actually telling you and why it's there. The better you get at figuring out what the pain signal is alerting you to or wanting you to change, the better you get at actually solving it and making it through the pain. The more you do this, the less threatening pain becomes and the easier it is to get through it again.
💊 This applies to pain of any kind, physical or emotional. Embrace the pain, and use it to direct you so that you can get back to normal. Remember, pain is not normal, it is your body telling you that something is up and needs to be changed so that it can get back to normal. It's your job to confront the pain and take the necessary steps to get through it ✅

A Cervicogenic headache is a headache that actually arises from the upper cervical spine (neck) joints and is perceived in the head and face. This occurs due to the convergence of trigeminal and cervical afferents in the trigeminocervical nucleus within the upper cervical spinal cord!
If that all sounds a bit complicated that's because pain is complex!! BUT we know it well! So see your pain professionals @homephysiomelbourne

I just need to run my hand over the top of my head to feel the legacy that I have been left with. People talk about battle scars and I guess this will be one of mine. There's still a lot of healing to be done but then again the battle hasn't reached its end yet. It's like phases ... The metal of the clips trying to contain the injury for the first phase. It was the hardest. Indeed initial surgery showed that it wasn't going to be easy and instead of an evacuation and clipping I had to have a crainiotomy. The clips stood their duty well. The remaining running suture and the anchor sutures are keeping it in place for the second phase. My head gets so tight. The swelling is uncomfortable but thankfully the last scan showed no evidence of hydrocephaly. A small victory but one I will gladly wear ❤ for now it is a 4th hourly alarm to alert me that I need to take my medications to stop the spasms. It is a Godsend. The spasms are so uncomfortable and bring about immediate anxiety as to whether or not my brain is about to bleed again.
Be kind to yourselves. Take that day to relax and do nothing. Read that book. Try that new flavor. Experience and enjoy life. Immerse yourselves in that that makes you happy. Words ... don't forget to share your words. Don't assume everyone you know knows how you feel. We play enough guessing games in our lives. Don't let love be one of them ❤❌💋❌❤ #hard#aneurysm#burst#brainbleed#subarachnoidhemorrhage#pain#headache#understand#braininjury#honesty#future#battle#eye#swollen#lost#battle#tired#swollen#someone#somebody#help. #anxiety
