Happy International Yoga Day 🙏🏼 Now by no means am I a yogi, or even do enough yoga 🧘♀️ but as someone that loves, promotes and coaches HIIT and strength training, I understand and appreciate the importance of yoga.
Firstly and the most obvious reason, to stretch and lengthen and open up everything that gets so tight from lifting. .
Secondly and more importantly for our mind, our stress levels and hormones. It is not good to constantly put your body under stress and batter it all the time. Sometimes stillness is the answer. .
If you don’t add yoga to your workouts already I would highly recommend Yin Yoga. Deep postures held for long periods of time to really allow you to stretch out and relax. Double win.
I used to believe that wrist wraps, lucky socks, or my favorite workout gear helped me have better/longer/stronger handstands. I was completely wrong all along, I needed to believe in what was present, & able-Me 🤸🏼♀️Now we out here, doing drills, toe tapping, pressing, yogaing, you get it 💛 #stateofmind#mentalhealth#me

Time is flying!
Livi is almost 1 and now she wants all the food we eat😱
It’s time to think about (again) what we do eat.
We are her role models and we want her to be as healthy as possible🙏
For us that means:
no industrial sugar and salt and no wheat.
Yeaahh it’s a big challenge!!! I don’t follow that every day already but it’s possible! And since there is such a huge change worldwide with so many great healthy food places around it‘s even more possible🙏
I love to see that all the moms around here i have met so far do also care about that! They bring fruit and veggies to the playground and if it‘s cake it‘s without sugar and wheat🙏
I’am also very thankful for my very dear friend @briieeda ( we miss you very much!!!) who convinced me to think about my daily food again🙏

Ive been a creative busy bee in the kitchen lately. Digestive issues, hives, food sensitivities, the ethical inner battle have all caused me to remove dairy the majority of the time. Anywho, here’s a dairy free, gluten free vegan Mac and cheese. The best part is it’s 100000% healthy and full of whole plant foods. And yes, I do eat everything out of a bowl 😂

Air-fryer salmon, cauliflower, and mango salsa 💃🏻 this is stop & shop’s salsa. I compared the ingredients with a jarred salsa and I chose this one because it was fresh with no added sugars or ingredients I couldn’t pronounce

got asked to go to the beach today & my first thought was “nope. not going. i hate myself in a bathing suit” later followed by “ok fine, i’ll go & i’ll skip breakfast so i won’t be bloated”. .
I still struggle with disordered thoughts like this sometimes - lots of us do! what matters is how we handle them. i used to listen to them & let them control me, & because of that, I missed a whole lotta LIFE 👏🏽 i don’t act on them anymore. i simply recognize that they’re there & go on with my day as best as i can.
today i woke up, ate breakfast, put my bathing suit on & enjoyed the beach. it took me YEARS to get to this point. but i just want to show you guys that it IS possible. it’s OKAY to struggle with these thoughts, you’re not alone. its a long process, but they don’t have to control you 💛🌻
