I thought today would end up as mundane travel blog, driving hundreds of kilometers yet again... But then my sis-in-law @ze_sassi_na <333 gave me the best. thing. ever. Concerning my educational activities, she gifted me an entire box of grade school level educational material, that she had meticulously crafted while becoming a teacher. It is amazing how much work and love has been put into this box <3 I think neither me nor my kids have ever seen educational material that nice! And it's exactly for the age level the oldest needs right now, AND really practical approaches like time and money!
Seriously <3 I am the luckiest person in the homeschooling universe! <3
The travel itself was ultra smooth again, travel days are the most relaxing days of all my activities to be honest because the kids just sit there mostly quietly, it's honestly amazing. We also heard #pettersonundfindus which I love.
Now I'm going to take a nice hot shower in the spa-like bathroom of the in-laws and the sleep.
The kids are so happy about meeting the family. And every time we're with them, they experience a development boost. It warms my heart. <3
How is she about to start 6th Grade? My heart can hardly stand it! ❤️
She's a voracious reader, and she just wrote a round-up of her 11 favorite books from 5th Grade - and it's up on our site! Link in bio. 📚

Just a usual day in the kitchen, with Luna attached to my hip 😂. I am so excited for this ebook to be released, are you also subscribed to our YouTube channel Raising Flower Children? As our proper YouTube’s start as soon as my Apple Mac is back from repair (I’m still waiting 🙄) but otherwise our whole setup is here now and I can’t wait to start filming 🎬
Life with boys the past three days has been hard.
Not sure what all comes into play but I have been struggling with Victor’s attitude and behavior. And Nikolai is copying everything his big brother says or does... so I got no break there either.
I want to think it is another growth development and that it is not me failing at being a good Mom. Today though I feel defeated.
He’s been rude to me and grandma, mean to Nikolai, and argued about everything.
It is just so not like him! Maybe it is just an adjustment time for him about being in a new place, away from home and daddy?
Either way, I think it is time for me to read some more parenting books and see what I can use to bring my “old” usual Victor back.

Another example of blaming #Homeschooling for abuse cases. The idea is when a child is in school they are supervised by the state, thus any parental abuse going on would be discovered. Nevermind the much higher rate of abuse, bullying, sexual assault and murder that occurs in public schools. But the thing is, this family didn’t pull their kid from public school to #homeschool out of a genuine intention to educate at home. Obviously these people are just degenerates who didn’t want to bother with their kid at all - they had no intention of homeschooling. In other words this has nothing to do with homeschool and everything to do with parental abuse. So, how can cases like this be prevented without giving the notoriously power hungry child welfare workers more power to intrude in your private life? This is the difficult matter at hand. Ideally it is the community, neighbors, family friends etc who should be aware and report any signs of abuse. Cases like this are rare, you can’t prevent every heinous act in the world. The State and politicians often use “child welfare” to push draconian laws, such as sex offender registries which have cast a huge unnecessary net and failed to prevent crime. 99% of new sex crimes are committed by those with no prior record. The number one cause of all crimes against children is failure of supervision, virtually every abduction of a child occurred when they were left unattended by their parents. So ultimately we are looking at a larger picture here - a dysfunctional and violent culture in which all variety of atrocity is possible. Just turn on prime time TV and all you see is death and banality. These abuse cases are a product of the Babylonian culture. Nobody wants to talk about that because they are part of the problem.🇺🇸🇦🇺🇦🇹🇧🇪🇨🇦🇨🇿🇩🇰🇫🇮🇫🇷🇩🇪🇬🇷🇭🇺🇮🇹🇮🇪🇳🇱🇳🇿🇳🇴🇵🇹🇵🇱🇷🇺🇪🇸🇸🇪🇨🇭🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴 #America#Austria#Australia#Belgium#Canada#CzechRepublic#Denmark#Finland#France#Germany#Greece#Hungary#Ireland#Italy#Netherlands#NewZealand#Norway#Portugal#Poland#Russia#Spain#Sweden#Switzerland#GreatBritain#England#Scotland#Wales

Jangan sibuk mengingat masa lalu anda, apalagi mantan-mantan anda, terlebih lagi menggali informasi masa lalu pasangan anda bersama mantan-mantanya, jangan. Karena itu tidak penting.
Salam move on 🙏
This quote hits me hard. Sometimes it applies to physical possessions, and sometimes it applies to the season of life I am in. Either way, it is a reminder for me to "be content in all things" like Paul talks about in Phillipians 4. My dissatisfaction for the things I have (or don't have) or trial I am going through only shows my weakness and my need to depend on Him who gives me strength.
Mommas, let's put away the opinions of the world and opinions within ourselves and look to Him who alone can give us our satisfaction and contentment today.

We live in a pretty small house. No fancy school room for us! If you want to see what it looks like to homeschool in less than 1400 square feet I wrote a blog post just for you! Link in bio.
Bringing order to chaos. This picture makes me feel like I should write something about how overwhelming closing out one homeschool school year and preparing for the next is with 5 kids...but the truth is I ❤️ organizing things!! Bringing order to this is like a little gift I give myself every year (but don’t tell my kids that)🤣 #homeschooling
Trying to get a nice photo in the wind be like 💨💨 gappy gap tooth over here seemed to be having fun at least 🤓

I implemented this notebook idea I saw on pinterest (a podcast w/@readaloudrevival), and it's very simple. Instead of heading to my master notebook and barking out our agenda, this notebook idea for each kid has proved to be so so so much better. It doesn't take a whole lot from me as I just write out the individualized plan of action for each kid. It was to keep us on task this summer...but it's been so effective I'm going to do this throughout our next school year! Do you do some school in the summer?
I have my very own copy in my hands! It’s so soft ... and the chalkboard and the chalk pastels and oh! I may have even tried to do a cartwheel (though all I’ve ever been able to do is a forward roll.) SO excited and can’t wait for YOU to have one too 🎉
Help! I’m Homeschooling is available in print and Kindle version at Amazon.com. Get your copy now! Be sure to save your Amazon order # and I have a special bonus for you ❤️ Thank you, friends!
