Believe it or not this location was used as a passageway for military supplies and war materials during the American Colonization. Some friends from the photowalk heard voices and have seen unidentified motions. Be careful!
We went out to get breakfast in the morning after which Alex of @catchpenny_safari_lodges took us around Elie.
As a native he pointed out various areas of Elie that we wouldn’t have figured out by ourselves....the existence of an ice house that now had weeds all around it, the various crow-traps that existed in the area that helped preserve and conserve the balance and finally where his boat house was located we saw the last of bluebells in the wild!
This one was sat in the back all the while and I had no clue! When Alex let her loose she swam to her hearts content in Kilconquhar Loch startling the swans while I had a good laugh!
A beautiful morning in Elie!
Straw bags: yes or no?🥂
I absolutely love them! Now I have two: a basket from Ikea and this one from AliExpress😋
By the way, do you want me to share with you my budget finds on the AliExpress in my stories?
The world is wide open, everyday you are alive. Go out and enjoy it!
Wonderful gardens, water basins and a park covering over 2000 acres of land surround Burghley House, built and mostly designed by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1555 and 1587. In a beautiful villa with art gallery you can admire the frescoes by the Italian painter Antonio Verrio. In the 16th century, Lord Burghley was a passionate gardener. The marvelous gardens are inspired by the Elizabethan style. The park you see today in Burghley was largely designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in the 18th century. A charming place to visit. @burghleyhouse

“Imperfection is beautiful.” The new luxury is simplicity and its beauty. Nature as the inspiration, its colours and textures, authenticity of objects and materials. Minimalistic and Japanese inspired kitchen, one of the gorgeous creations of designer Sergey Makhno @makhno_design. Design, which balances nature, art and function. Do you like this setting?

Don't let this banana bread fool you. It looks all perfect, crisp edges, beautiful. But just like us, it's soft and vulnerable in the center. .
Let's face it, every day (I mean hour) we hop onto this social media platform wide-eyed and bushy-tailed. We open our app with anticipation of a flood of new friends that follow. Or that a photo was recognized by someone important or someone ♥️'ed your picture. .
We stay perfect, rigid and beautiful for all to see, but aren't we all just soft and vulnerable on the inside? .
Believe me, I am soft and vulnerable and RELY on my network of support. Those folks that are always there to lift my spirits up, to pay a compliment on a photo. Those folks that have thousands more followers than me and yet still take a minute out of their day to check my feed, leave a sincere comment. Those local, close friends that I have made through this network. The ones I confide in, that I spend time with, that make the good days really good and the bad days a little less sucky! .
We are ALL a community! In the business world, especially a local shop, @pipsoriginal has a saying: "community over competition"
I think the same goes here. Community first! If we don't support our fellow bloggers, then what are we doing here? .
When I was teaching, we held a community circle everyday. We complimented someone for something they did, said or were working on. I feel like Instagram is one big community circle! So take some time and compliment someone today. You never know who's spirit you will lift!💖
