No existen las trabas, y si las hay, esas trabas muchas veces están en nosotros y en nuestra cabeza.

9 and 12 years old and they ran a solid race!
Tried to take a nap while my kiddo took his, but instead I just laid there thinking about this year. I have signed up for and ran a lot of races already. I’ve dealt with injury due to overtraining, and I still have more to run. However is my goal to just run a lot or is my goal to become an overall better runner. I’ve been following @wser this morning and there’s something in me that desperately wants to run big 100-milers like that. But my coach has been really trying to teach me that quality runs over quantity is so much better. And for me to actually run those monster races I need to focus on being better at shorter distances. So I decided this week to withdraw from the 50 miler I had signed up for. The race director for @trailracingovertexas is a great person and was so kind about it. Instead I will be once again running Palo Duro 50k as my big race this year. Hopefully I can cut 1:45 off my time from last year. Then my next big race isn’t until @3mhalfmarathon in January. I’ll still run the races I’ve signed up for but I won’t be racing them. New goal is to convince myself that quality will always be better than quantity. #movingforward#focus#joyinthejourney
